  do you have an inner voice inside of you that opposes what you think about the jehovah witnesses?.

  in other words, is there a part of you that will always be a jehovah witness, and a part of you that will always hate them?

  is there a part of you that will always be a Jehovah Witness, and a part of you that will always hate them?

  Well first of all I do not hate Jehovahs-witnesses. On the contrary, I look upon them with pity, seeing how misled they are, and try to help them.

  I do hate however, the mindset and techniques used to bind these people. There is no part of me that remains a JW. Neither the mindset nor the attitude or worldview. IMO, once you see through them you are no longer one of them nor can you ever be one again. An informed JW becomes automaticly an ex-jw, at least in mind and spirit. Some however wish to stay in for family or other ties, but in their hart they are no longer JW.

  I draw inspiration from knowledge and learning. I am a sponge when it comes to knowledge, I like to read and indulge myself in reason, logic, science and nature. I am a seeker of truth, the search alone is well worth the effort and hardships encountered. Life is beautifull!

  Watchtower Condemns Catholics for Pedophile Cover-Up!

  the watchtower society has condemned the catholic church for over 15 years because of their pedophile cover-up -- now, the watchtower society is trying to make a defense of their own pedophile cover-up by claiming that they are "no worse than any other religion"!.

  statements made to the media by official watchtower society spokesmen about the jehovah's witnesses pedophile problem being "no worse than any other religion":.

  How embarrassing to condemn others for covering up pedophilia and caught covering it up yourself!

  How embarrassing to condemn others for false prophetising and caught doing it yourself!

  How embarrassing to condemn others for doing the things you excel in!

  Wasn't there a bible text that basically said :

  You that's preaching 'do not lie', do you lie? You that's preaching 'do not steal', do you steal? You that's preaching 'do not hate', do you hate?

  Who would have left if....

  inspired by a recent thread quoting from an awake.

  some people who were once faithful christians have purposely drawn away from god,perhaps because of bitterness,pride, or greed, and are now "apostate fighters" against god's spirit.they willfully oppose what the spirit is clearly accomplishing.

  have these induividuals committed the unforgiveable sin?

  I left because of the lack of evidence for 'what the spirit is clearly accomplishing.'

  Looking at what the the society has accomplished sofar, I start wondering what 'spirit' it is they are referring to.

  The arbitrary reasons given for not celebrating certain celebrations was what made me begin to doubt the reasons given for more important issues. They constantly contradict themselves.

  paul kinsella, 31, of new athens, ill. has just launched a new business that he claims will allow the living to send messages to the afterworld.

  he is lining up terminally ill volunteers who will memorize messages given by the living and then deliver them to the dead once they pass over.

  and he's only charging $5 a word, although, he claims he is giving it all to charity.

  The Watchtower Letters, part 2

  here's the next entry in the series of examples of correspondence i had with the wts back during the 1970's (mostly).

  this letter concerns the establishment of the year 1918 as being the time for the "first resurrection," i.e., the resurrection to spirit life of the anointed ones who had died previous to that time.

  what i find interesting about this letter is that no attempt was made to address the question i actually asked.
