Do I like you all or did I just put a lightsaber in my pocket?!

it took me more than a year too.... a warm thanx to all who made this possible, simon and ang for setting up this board and all the others for roaming it and making it an interesting place to say the least!

will the JW read this
by wonderer2003 inthe jw's have been back at my door a couple of times since my first post.. she gave me watchtowers and showed me books and literature from the jw cd, i said i would give her something to read when she came back.
she returned today with more medical stuff printed from her cd, so i gave her the stuff i got through the internet (thankfully alot of it was pages i found through this forum).
this is how the conversation went.. jw: afternoon.

StarWars kid!!!!! A true must-see!!
by greven insome poor star wars fan thought it would be cool to play darth maul with a broom stick and tape it... unfortunately he forgot to remove the tape, friends found it and put it on the web, sure enough there was soon a remix made of the original...wildly funny!.

Did Any Of You Ever Believe In The Explanations Of JW Prophecy?
by minimus inas a born and raised jw, i was taught that not only did we have the truth but we also had the keys to understanding of bible prophecy.
i was able to explain the gentile times timetable, the reason for 1914,etc.
but there came a time when i really came to appreciate that i had no real foundation for these "truths".

Well, I understood them alright but to me most seemed so ludicrous it was hard to actually believe them. Especially the ones like the 1290 and 1335 days... everything seemed to apply to them i thought it was far from being modest.
From what I learn from inside the cong: most do not understand them, in particular the elderly. Quite a lot of folks find it unreal, but are afraid to speak up.
