  i'm canadian but i still just can't wrap my head around being 188 centimeters tall and 111 kilograms!.

  America will never go the way of the meter

  If you remember way back Canada & the US were suppose to go metric by the same time period. It cost us Zillions!!!!! And it still sucks. I still use the gal, inches & feet.

  I think I got a phone witness last night

  unfortunately i was at work and it was a message.

  it sounded like a young woman, and a very nervous one at that, she kept stumbling and stammering, mentioned something about a scripture in psalms, and a new kingdom, then ended with offering a free bible study.

  i kinda felt sorry for her, she sounded like i did when i first started peddling their crap door to door.

  People hate telemarketers

  You can say that again, we get so many I just don't answer or let the machine cut in. Great thing for caller ID. Telephone witnessing is really hot in the winter especially for older ones & shut In's around here.

  More Damned Snow in the air today!!!

  yesterday we were blessed with another 8 inch snowfall.

  it was [in defense] among the most beautiful days we have had this winter - the temps around 30 and the sun was out sometimes.

  i spent the entire day at home with the grandmunchkins - they spent most of it outside playing in the wintery stuff, as they were off school.

  More Damned Snow in the air today!!!

  i spent the entire day at home with the grandmunchkins - they spent most of it outside playing in the wintery stuff, as they were off school.

  as many of you know i have been battling extreme anxiety and depression for almost a decade now.

  well, generally i do okay, taking things one day at a time.

  i recently had to make the decision to extremely limit my contact with my parents who .

  Do what is best for you! There is only one you, unless you have a twin. But seriously, peace of mind is so important to help move on in life and live your dreams.

  Probably most of us have suffered depression at one time or another,but finding true friends who except you for you help the healing time till you feel back to your self.

  Edited to Add: Years ago I suffered depression and the words of my family doctor come to mind that I would like to share,

  He told me, " If you can not resolve the problems get them the hell out of your life" (in those exact words)

  That was the best advise I have ever taken to this day!
