as far as I can remember we were always having to refer to them as uncle and auntie, I never had a problem with it TBH, I like to rib guys at work who jokingly refer to so and so as "your uncle"

Splash is correct, fuel and travel costs will mean less will make the meetings , if they have been used to a nice morning Sunday meeting and they suddenly find themselves having to attend a Sunday evening meeting a few miles further it will have the desired affect, KH attendence must be poor in the UK now as well, my old KH must be on the hit list as another KH less then 2 miles away is used by 2 congs, I remember the dreadful "quickbuild" and rectifications that were needed because of the dreadful workmanship, and additional costs

new assembly experience... what do you reckon to this one?
by purrpurr inok so aparently there was this young girl who wanted to study with the jw's because she loved the bible so much.
she asked her fathers permission but he refused, after much nagging though he said she could have a study if she was prepared to have one of her fingers chopped off.
he thought the is would stop her but she was willing so he got a knife and cut off one of her fingers... a little while later she wanted to attend the meetings and he said no and again when nagged said she could attend meetings if she had another finger chopped off so she agreed and he chopped off a second finger.

Watchtower circulation jumps up!
by factfinder inthe jan. 1, 2015 w shows an updated printing of 52,946,000 copies each issue in 228 languages.. this is an increase of 7,002,000 copies per issue over last year, this is the biggest increase i have seen in the printing of the w per issue for any one year.
thus, including the study edition over 70 million copies of the w are now being printed each month.. .
i wonder if awake!

will come as a part of the watchtower public edition instead of as a separate magazine.
this is a huge change... with serious cost savings.
