  it must be close to torture sitting uncomfortably, steaming hot, dressed in completely unsuitable clothing, at the annual boasting session of a DC. If I recall I'm approaching the 20th year I've not been to one! my advice is go for plenty of walks, keep very well hydrated, , get a Kindle, find a nice area where you can have a nap, sad thing is that young children have to endure this,

  I had breakfast with 50+ JWs on Sunday

  we pulled into a hotel parking lot saturday around 6pm on the return leg of a wonderful family vacation to new england - an then fate stepped in---a man in a suit got out of a car with the rest of a picture perfect family.

  i immediately noticed all the name tags--- and my blood pressure spiked 50pts- damn!!

  i was booked in a 4 story hotel full of jws-- the only time they took off the name tags was in the swimming pool- they were so proud of themselves.. at 6:30 am the hot water went cold in the wife's shower- what do you expect on the 4th floor when a herd of jws is trying to get ready at the same time?

  well, i don't wanna rant too much but sometimes things cut you don't they.. a family member had a get together for the family, jw and non jw and of course i wasn't invited being da'd.. i understand why they couldn't invite me but it just made me think.

  in normal society this wouldn't happen.

  i'd have been there.. the shunning is so unnatural and damaging.

  it reminds me when my snotty nosed sister had a house warming party for her lovely new house many years ago, I wasn't even DA'ed then except she organized 2 parties for this event , the first party comprised of uber , trendy , beautiful , carefully selected JW's , the secondary party consisted of the non jw family members and general "riff raff" and me! and others low down on her social food chain, naturally I told her where to stick her party

  they will move the goal posts in which world conditions will suit their pathetic attempt to justify they have it right about the "end". A few years back you can read the usual drivel about the world being a cesspit and mankind would come close to destroying the planet, simple fact is that the Earth's population have never had it so good, advances in medicine and science see people living far longer and healthier lives.

  the deer head is a classic example of sleep paralysis, quite funny though, can just picture being chased around by it or a scene from a budget B horror movie
