its interesting Cofty highlighting the role Jesus Christ plays in the so called triune godhead(I'm neither fussed by a triune god or monotheism, both mean nothing to me) and not something I've generally paid too much attention to even as a jw and after I left for a short time as a Christian I played up the fact that the ransom was to do away with the Mosaic Law and this new religion was nice and comfortable and far easier than the shackles that were placed on those practising Judaism or any other belief system, but a good point to discuss with Christians and to emphasise that JC/Yahweh or whatever you want to call it and the so called Holy Spirit is just as malevolent as the god of the OT, good points.

the logos, the alpha and omega who is "the same yesterday, today, and forever.".
he claimed that "he that has seen me has seen the father" and that "i and the father are one".. in short, christians assert that jesus is almighty god from all eternity.. it therefore follows that jesus was the god who ordered the nation of israel to take slaves as inheritable possessions.

jesus wrote nothing.. stop and think about that.. if jesus were the authentic messiah, his ministry would not simply be local.. his instructions, his mission, the details of his teachings would be too precious to risk leaving it in the hands of "men unlettered (illiterate) and ordinary (blue-collar yokels).".
jesus, were he the one and only hope of mankind, would be absolutely certain to write down with great simplicity and specificity the exact owner's manual necessary to rescue mankind.. never happened!.

sounds like he done very well for himself, some years ago we had an American family move to our cong by the name of Worth Thornton who served in Bethel for many years ( Ray mentions him) and his contacts in the transport office enabled him to set up in business when he left, he done very well indeed, his business ? an aircraft broker, very wealthy indeed, he died a few years after I faded. -

by Stepford Wife inmy husband is still asleep but he will get up in about an hour for work so i'm going to quickly tell you my inconclusive conclusion.
i don't know if i can believe in god anymore.

Fulano if a GB member was announced to be visiting the UK or anywhere in Europe they would sell out any venue, the same when GB members visited Twickenham in the 60's and 70's 60k plus were packed in, more at The International Convention at Wembley in 1969, us Brits do as much sucking up to these characters as anyone, sadly these degenerate scroungers are known worldwide.
