okay.....now this thread is completely off any topic i have seen here before...but i am just in shock over an infection that my 9 year old son got w/in hours of swimming at an area lake.
my kids went swimming for about 4 hours yesterday and my middle boy, james, found a leech in his belly button on the ride home.
he didn't think anything of it and pulled it off.
Eek. Now I remember why I never swim in lakes.
i've read on this website countless threads about girls getting involved, falling head over feet in love with dubs.
supposingly good dubs, who want their cake with extra frosting on top, so to speak.... me being one of those girls, who fell in love with the wrong guy--knows exactly how they feel--one way or another they've gonna get hurt, and i think i've replied with the "run for your life" type statement--in truth, it is really the only sane choice.
i know why we fall helplessly infatuation w/ these dud's--they're charming, well mannered, well dressed, kind, innocently sexy, they look great in a suit, and i guess, in my case, i used to invision myself taking off his suit: first the tie, then unbuttoning his shirt with my mouth, and well--okay--i am again meandering off the path.. here is my question and it is for all the male jw's that may read this: if you know it is wrong to get involved with worldly women, then why do you pursue us?????

apostate just means: someone who renounces a former belief or principle.. to people who have never been witnesses it may not symbolise much.but to witnesses the word means a lot.in many of their minds it is synonymous with evil and perverted.. since it jw's who will likely call us apostate not others the term almost always has a bad or negative useage.. but it does identify us as people who have completely rejected the religion.. so is it good for us to use it or not?

i have other dreams, but am far too lazy to type them up.
6of9: There are several possible explanations. First, MrMoe could have picked up a reference to these dolphins and then forgotten it years ago. Second, it could be a coincidence -- most types of animals come in many colors; she could have just gotten lucky. (Consider all the dreams that mean nothing -- we forget about them because they are commonplace.)
How's this: When you can repeatedly pick up in a dream anything provably unknowable -- say, words or numbers written on a card, in a sealed envelope, managed by a disinterested party -- let me know.

sometimes i wonder if the legalism and the authoritarianism in the wt have a purpose that i intuitively understood at first, and that somehow i've become blinded of the necessity of those things.. two things keep entering my mind - .
1. jesus likened his followers to sheep, and;.
2. the israelites got tired of the manna.. in leaving the wt, am i like the israelites who complained about the "contemptible bread"?
