  i can't find the words that would express how grateful i am for all the support, not only for all of you to back me on the dateline show but for my trial as well.

  i don't think i would have had the courage to go through the trauma if it wasn't for all your prayers and encouragement.

  dateline was a huge help for many and i know this because i have recieved quite a few calls, one from a current jdub who wants out for the safety of his 16 month old baby, i was so excited that he lifted the veil and saw it for the pure truth that it was.

  GB has dealt treacherously with Younger Anointed!

  the younger anointed (those who came in after 1935) in the organization are treated by the gb as both a whore and a beloved wife.. the whore: for years they have published articles whose intent was to denigrate the younger anointed.

  as a result many of these younger anointed ones have had to fight a spiritual uphill battle with their elders and circuit overseers because the watchtower paints them as falsely claiming spiritual union with the christ.. .

  the beloved wife: yet, it is from this group of younger anointed that the gb has picked 5 members of the governing body!!

  Great, but those aren't REAL witnesses. Those are normal people like you and me who could be disfellowhipped for that very normalcy. If they are real, well informed Witneses then they have forsaken the New Covenant, and signed on to believe all the beliefs "Peculiar" to the Jehovah's Witnesses. I have a lot of loved ones who are still in, my parents among them. I have protected that relationship by moving away and by not discussing religion unless they bring it up. My mom doesn't, my dad does and then I am totally honest with him. I do always put in "remember that you brought this up and wanted to talk about it." He hasn't done it since we had our discussion of the Mediator a while back. I think that one made him see that he chose either Christ or the 144,000, the Bible or the "understanding" of the Bible by Brooklyn. He chose the Society over Christ, couldn't explain to me just how his ransom was accomplished and I imagine he spent some sleepless hours. He is a good man and the sooner he sees the Tower for the cult it is, despite the pain of recognizing decades of wasted effort in their service, the better for him. I do need to be careful as I don't want him to have to shun me. Any REAL, any well informed and WHOLE_SOULED witness, is not a real Christian. You have to deny Christ to be one, hence not taking the emblems and saying you are NOT in the covenant. Doesn't mean I don't love them. If they were dopers, I would love them too.
  I still love my daughter and that is saying something after her behaviour. She brought up religion, asked me to be honest with her about my real feelings, then shared my letters with her elders. They told her it was a conscience decision but that I was trying to destroy her faith so as she had just reached a good financial spot and could afford to return the car she had been borrowing for a year, she returned the keys along with a note saying she was altering our relationship. She didn't do it to my face or course, but slipped it under the door at my house the night before her brother was flying in from Connecticut to Florida for a family get together. I was glad he was there to see it first hand and to help console his poor mom and me. She started shunning me (threw her Presbyterian mom in for good measure as she wouldn't go along with seeing her when I wasn't around) and built a big wall between her and her brother. He despises the cult too, though he was never in. He saw enough. I hope via Dateline a lot of people have seen enough to recognize a leopard by its spots. The Jehovah's Witnesses are lying hypocrites. Any associated with them are supporting lying hypocrites and in danger of becoming lying hypocrites themselves if the follow the letter of the law set forth by the Lying Hypocrites in Brooklyn, New York. They get the caps because they are Anointed, Ha. God, what lying hypocrites they really are. Sell their brothers and claim to have love. wow. Don't believe it and don't put them on any pedestals. You are good despite being a Witness, not because of.

  All Jehovah's Witness congregations are corrupt. They all lie, push lies and have people in them who are dishonoring parents, and other immediate family. They all send money to a publishing company in Brooklyn that poses as God. Sorry, I know this isn't what you wanted but I had to say it. I can think of no more corrupt group than the Tower. They are unnatural.

  a while back, i told of my wife going by our old kingdom hall and surprised to see an american flag hanging by the window.

  i thought this was picture worthy news, and some of you agreed.. well it turns out the congregation sold the hall to a phillipino church.

  The old rule about not dealing with Babylon must have been dropped after they got caught with Jimmy Swaggert. Anyway they sold the KH in Leesburg, Florida to a real church, the Salvation Army. Now there are some people that seem to do some good.

Never, ever bring up WWII, the shameful letter that Rutherford wrote kissing up to Hitler, the lies about the numbers of Witnesses who died in the camps, which can be proven from the Watchtowers own numbers, well it is not a good place to take a stand on the truthfulness of the cult known as Jehovah's Witnesses. Besides the fact that the change from NOT allowing alternative service as was the case in Vietnam and ALLOWING it now, let so many young Witness boys go into prisons where they were raped and mistreated horribly, well, that isn't the high ground either, hmmm, THERE IS NO HIGH GROUND FOR THE JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES. Their history of lies and tricks condemn them.

  As for Rwanda, that is much too close to Malawi for you to want to bring it up. The backstabbing of the "brothers and sisters" in Malawi is one of the darkest chapters in WatchTower Cult History. As most of the people reading this thread knows, the book publishing company in Brooklyn that you seem to worship as a God was dodging taxes in Mexico by pretending not to be a religion, no bibles, no prayers nothing that could COST THEM MONEY which is what they worship. Anyway they allowed Witnesses in Mexico to lie and BRIBE officials to get the same type of card that Witnesses in Malawi were having the meat hacked off their legs for not buying because the liars in Bethel thought they needed to take a stand there. It didn't cost them anything and the persecution pumped up morale around the world and gave them a lot of press, in my opinion. Go do some homework, research the cult a little bit and then let's talk OK?

  While you are researching, could you please explain the seven thousand year creative days and just where that teaching came from? Or is that just another LIE that came out of the head of an old ego maniac in Brooklyn, New York?

  Hi Buffy,
  I am so sorry for the pain you have had to endure. Losing family members over lies, lies that you can't even question or discuss, is a terrible thing. A lot of us have endured and are enduring that pain. I don't know the details of your situation, but I do know this, you have been involved with a cult. The Jehovah's Witnesses are a lie. The picture they present is one of love and cleanliness when in fact they are all about hate and corruption. They teach conditional love with so many conditions it would be almost comical were it not so heartbreaking. You say you have lost your family, that is the type of condition no person should have to meet. Do as we say or we take away your MOM. Almost unbelievable isn't it. If you compromised and tried to go back you couldn't act like they do. You have to be willing to sell your family for eternal life. You have to be willing to turn your back on your parents or kids to force them to pretend to believe the company line. How sadly ironic that they sell you for a lie. If you are an honest person, you would come back out, and they would think that since shunning you was effective last time it will work again. Let it rock. Things will probably get a little better and remember tens of thousands walk away every year, just like you did. Maybe they will wake up and have the moral courage to see a lie and call it just that, then walk away as you did. Until then, pretending wrong is right won't help you or them. You would just be an enabler, helping them to keep up their nasty cult habit and behaviors.
  As a father I OWE it to my little girl not to be a liar and to set a good example for how to live, how to face adversity when you confront it. I'm doing that. I won't bow, if she chooses too then she can, but she will be able to look up and see me standing. Whether she is capable of seeing and understanding or not, I am doing what is right. Bowing to evil would be wrong. The cult known as Jehovah's Witnesses twist truth to hurt the innocent. They don't care about dying children, sick parents, divided families, loved ones in agony, or you. I will not serve them and will seek them out and oppose them at every opportunity. You did the right thing when you left.

  shaking hands with death: the one common bond we all share, even jehovahs witnesses, is death ... it lurks in the back of the head ... and most people dont think about it more than they are forced to when a loved one dies.

  on monday, 5/28 i was forced against my will to meet mr. death, and have my first chat with him.. i would have expected to have profound and serious thoughts combined with the wise and sage advice of standing at the threshold of deaths door.

  what i found was something most unexpected ... something that altered my views of life and death, yet once again.. the heart attack: it was a pleasant noontime.

  Islandwoman, there was no water in that well to begin with. The cult known as Jehovah's Witnesses began with a kook, continued with idiots like Rutherford and is finishing with fools like Fred Franz. All they have done is deny Christ, kill innocents with stupid medical understandings from no vaccinations to no blood, and divide families that should be together other inconsequential disagreements while demanding wives stay with husbands who are having sex with animals. This group of liars and hypocrites have NOTHING to do with God unless of course you believe in Satan and think he is a god. Self-serving, finger pointing, child abusing, wife suppressing, family destroying, money hungry, scripture twisting, SLIME BALLS. Of course that is only my opinion based on forty some odd years of close observation, close contact and study.
