I am all for getting in and out as quickly as possible. The last thing we want, as we have shown in all of our occupations in the past, is to keep Iraq or Afghanistan. The sooner we cut the oil off to the terrorists and their supporters the better.

It would be nice if we could be isolationists, but that didn't work. We are forced to take an interest in world affairs for our own protection, not profit. We will spend far more than we can afford on both Afghanistan and Iraq and judging from the attitudes of the people there, will wind up with them hating us anyway.

Read the latest message from the great coward of allah, the Running Martyr, and you will see his quote on hating ALL christians and jews. As for profits, he encourages the faithful to kill moslem apostates and steal their goods.

If any proof is needed of what a bunch of maniacs we are dealing with, this little note from hiding urging everyone ELSE to stand and fight to the death and inflict casulties is it.

Until this bird and his ilk are wiped out and their money taken from them, we will have to be on a war footing and occupy places he would like to be but can't because we are there. We have to keep him in his ditch with his head DOWN, shouting out for everyone else to stand up.

So the dog is barking again, from way out in the woods. No video, that might give him away, he is afraid of that despite his deep desire to be a martyr. Ha. Kind of funny.
Telling the others to dig ditches because his position was so strong it was never taken. Lying peice of shit. What postition might that have been? I don't remember any that weren't taken. I remember the pictures of some ditches getting carpet bombed and then walked over and the pieces examined. They broke and ran. It was what was left of those boys in the ditches that ran to an ill fated fort where our own American Taliban spent some time. He wasn't in those ditches. Is he talking about Tora Bora??? If he was there, as many claim though none are really sure of, then he ran like a rabbit leaving untold others whose parts we found on those hills, left to draw fire and to die while he fled. His money, not his ditch, saved his life. If we had used 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines to cover that side instead of a greedy warlord, we'd have that noisy, rich, rabbit in the pot. A prolonged fight??? He had all the time in the world and the money, to set up in Afghanistan and how long did he last??? This guy makes me want to puke. He doesn't care how many poor people he gets killed. How people can listen to a guy like this when he urges THEM to stand and fight from some hiding place? Well it just goes to show that cult leaders have no shame. Funny to hear him calling people "apostates."

I still remember the films of the poor hate filled Pakistani's going into Afghanistan, and I remember the pictures of them in prison begging to be shipped to Cuba because they were ill fed and freezing. I imagine old Bin had his food on time and stayed warm and cozy.
Ah well, and the beat goes on....and so do the lies.

His best combat advice would be to trick American soldiers into attending their Moslem religious cerermonies, where they MIGHT get trampled in the stone throwing ceremonies. Much higher mortality rate there than in combat with these hidden warriors. Over 200 in the last couple of years, man that equals a number of campaigns against these guys. I guess they thank Allah for being able to sneak on airliners, into cafes and onto public transportation. Even then their brave "warrior" is sure to die. How they look in a mirror I don't know. I guess they see the famous group of virgins waiting for them. What a motivation to kill women and children.

I believe these laws to be a reaction to a crisis. We narrowly missed some key information that would have allowed us to prevent the tragedy on 911, we missed information that would have allowed us to interdict bin laden. We were about to go into a war, and did go into the at war beginning with Afghanistan, and needed to be able to find out as much as we could to protect our boys going in as well as the people at home. We have changed the Taliban out, we are about to rid ourselves of another enemy. Once things are ironed out, we will repeal the laws and get back to normal. Right now we NEED to be able to keep the arabs we have in Cuba, both for information, to lower the number of active terrorists and enemies we have to face and to give the enemy something to think about.

In times of crisis rules change. On a war footing you have to make some concessions. Ask all the activated reserves whose lives are being turned upside down. They will return to normal.

At what age do you plan to retire?

so many people start working young in life, and expect to retire around 58 years old.

some even retire much before that.

but so many witnesses never expected to reach that age in this system.

I hope to retire in six years. I am fifty three and will have worked and paid into social security since I was fifteen. Not that I will be counting on that, my job retirement is what I will drawing from and from Tax Sheltered Annuities. We are really looking forward to it. Hook my old diesel Suburban up to my little camper and take off for every national park and state park that we have never seen or would like to see again. It will be great.
We aren't wishing the six years away, just like I don't wish away work weeks, I try to enjoy every breathe I draw. Still, Fridays and retirement sound pretty good.

i've only been in and out on the boards to check and comment on some threads i was on.

tink and i have had a stressful few weeks.

my place of employment is taking a beating with the down swing of the economy.

Sorry for the stress and the pain, but most sorry for the useless loss of a human life. I don't understand suicide. It breaks my heart to think of anyone reaching that point.

Good luck in your job search. Might be time to retrain in the medical or education field, they seem to be booming. If you have technical expertise it might not take as long as you would think. In some places you can now take tests to become a teacher, get the job and then go back and take the needed courses later. Just a thought. Best wishes, whatever you do.

Why would you smile???

What would you do to stop another attack form happening with a more powerful weapon???

What are your answers to this situation??? Should we cut off Israel, who is dealing with the same problem from the same people??? Should we get all of our forces out of the part of the world that the "would be Martyrs" who send the real "martyrs" with the bombs out tell us to stay out of??? If we were spineless enough and did both of those things do you think they would really stop???

I don't know the answer. I do know that an enemy that is willing to kill his own people and even family members would be willing to give weapons to the people that have shown themselves eager to deliver his weapons. I wouldn't wait to see a mushroom cloud over New Orleans, Boston or London to decide to stop the sources. I'd do it now. I'm glad we are.

When and if more innocent people die, or more of my rights are taken in an effort to prevent such deaths, then I won't be smiling. I'm not now. It is a sad situation that I don't see a good ending to. It is like the Middle East tangle is being exported. I think we can stop most of it. I hope so.

I don't like the new laws. I hope they are repealed. I think they were a reaction and will be undone when the crisis is past. Having the near miss on the terroist's computer and other lost opportunities affected us a lot. I will vote for their undoing given the chance. Meanwhile, I don't think the American government is trying to take away my freedom. I think they are doing their best to keep track of all the people we have within our borders who would like to see more secretaries jumping out of windows.

i really do hate them.. every now and then it does me good to make my views on the cult known as jehovah's witnesses known.

i didn't come to this view slowly or rashly, but over a period of some thirty years or more.

when i think of the futures i have seen shredded, the hypocrites i have seen looking down their twisted noses from the bottom of a pit while they thought they were on a pedestal of righteousness, the children i have seen tortured over issues they needn't have faced, the couples i have seen turn on one another and break apart over this phoney "religion", the children i have seen turn on their parents, brothers and sisters, the selfish things i have seen charlatans posing as christians do, the ignorance of the bible i have seen expounded with the tones and knowing looks of superiority, the tears i have seen shed by caring puppet-people trying to serve god honestly but being forced to do uncaring things by the strings pulled in new york, well....... have i mentioned i hates'em!!!!!!!!.

Kim, give them time. Your your emotions will stretch to fit the facts and you will despise the whole cult too. When I first left I thought they were just sincerely wrong, honestly searching christians. As I learned to appreciate the magnitude of their greed, the coldness and implications of their lies and the worldwide sameness of their syncophants, my disgust and hatred swelled to match their deeds. I mostly hate the leaders and the "Organization" itself, I try to help and enlighten the poor misguided "other sheep" though I have been inspired by contact to despise a few individual hypocrites who earned it.

TR, nah, they are birds of a feather, and share common traits. The good thing is they are a passing bubble of sewage in a fairly clean sea of people. Most people reject the lies and the coldness, hence their slowed growth rates, the enormous turn over of members and the high rate of children "Raised In the Truth" that exit as soon as possible. As for the leaders old and new well, the fouler parts of sewage sink to the bottom of the tank, and they are on the way down. The rest flow on out and are clensed. It is only when I come in contact with the source that I remember the stench at all. The good thing is that once you smell it you can recognize it anywhere! I won't be fooled again.

You are not a cult member. You have a heart and think for yourself. Their wavelength is sent out from "The Slave" who is their Master and for whom they sacrifice friends like you and me, and their children, wives, husbands, parents or anyone else that is critical of their "Slave" master. Seeing Jews treated like dirt became normal to Germans. We can never forget just how cruel and unchristian these people really are. I imagine if you hang around a few close family members that won't speak to you for a while, you could get your edge back!!! I hope that never happens of course.

Thank you Lauralisa, it always feels good to know there are those like you and Seven and the others who stand beside you in the fight, though my fight is not contingent upon support. They are really evil, rotten people who hurt a lot of idealistic and trusting people. They use blackmail and lies like you and I use stamps.

Thanks to all of you from the bottom of my heart for sharing a strong, an intense hatred for the LIE that is the Jehovah's Witnesses. Godspeed if your path is against them.
