How many DF'd and DA'd ex-JWs still believe it's the truth?

i just got off the phone with my sister-in-law.

we don't talk regularly at all - but today the discussion turned to our beliefs.

she's da'd herself 15 years ago, but she is still filled with guilt over not being able to live up to the standards of the witnesses.

I imagine they would enforce a "3 times and you're out for good" to DF'd members, but then they'd lose half their members.

Are you serious? Even with all the facts being stated on this forum? 1914? 1925 "Resurrection of the Ancient Worthies"? 1975?

To just disassociate because you can't stand the people in your congregation must have been difficult to admit to the Elders, but I would
think you could have just went to a different KH. I don't mean to sound harsh, but if you're gonna disassociate - it should be because you
don't believe in their version of the "truth" or their doctrines.

I guess you'd be a good candidate to return if you wish.

so, we had the co visit and he told us what undeserving we are.

compared with his last visit, all our numbers are down: less publishers, less hours, less studies, less magazines, less meeting attendance, less baptisms.

then he proceeded to show us how a simple kid and a grandma that can't even read or write do more than us.

..Vending Machines and JW Assemblies..

.."out of order"..no vending machine is complete at a jw assembly,without an "out of order" sign on it.....of course it`s not true..the machine works fine..it`s just one of the many lies jw`s are willing to accept from the wbt$.....although..this lie is extremely large and visible,it`s a frigg`n vending machine!..lol!

!.............does the management that rents the facilities to the wbt$,know the wbt$ is disabling them?....does the owners of the vending machines know the wbt$ is disabling them,and interfering with their right to do business in that facility?......could the wbt$ be sued for loss of vending machine business?.......wouldn`t it be fun to let the vending machine owners know their machines are being disabled,at jehovah`s witness assemblies?......it would mean more bad publicity for the wbt$ for lying and court cases they couldn`t win...................outlaw

Why Aren't There Windows in the Newer Kingdom Halls?

i've driven by several newer kh's in the past few years and noticed that none of them have even so much as one window.

just double doors on the front (with no windows) and a solid door on the back.

what's up with that?

They put windows in it, and I'm sure the neighbours are complaining by now because of the elders prancing around naked on the platform.
