Prophasies

this is for the people who believe that jehovah god is the father and jesus christ is the son and that the end of times is here.

these are just a few biblical prophasies i have found that are yet to come.. 2 tim.3:1-5 ; 2 pet.3:3,4 ; mat.24:7 ; rev.6:4 ; dan.2:44 ; mat.6:10 ; dan.7:13,14 ; psa.46:9 ; 2 pet.3:13 ; rev.20:1-3 ; john 5:28,29 ; psa.37:11,29 ; acts 24:15 ; rev.

11:18 ; 1 john 2:2 ; psa.110:1 ; acts 2:34-36 ; isa.25:8 ; rev.21:1-4 ; 1 cor.15:26.... these are just a few, there are many more where that came from.

here is a response back from my sister who is a JW and her husband is a Elder..She is more open minded in hearing me because we respect each other. I brought up some issue in regards to pass prophecies, my email to her was not to FORCE or say anything disrespectful, it was trying to let here know what I found and what her thought were.. and I think not only ALEMAN can learn from this but as well as other JW.

If she responds..good if she doesnt its just as fine with me..I just like the idea that maybe she might actual find what I have found..I reserve calling them False Prophets or Cult because it just does not sound like something I want to say anymore, let alone I dont think God wants me to say it to them (decided on this a few days ago).

my husband and i decided to go somewhere next year -- anywhere in the world.

consider we live in america and have never been ouside of america.

(well -- jamaca/caimen islands but that doesn't really count!

thought of birthday rebutal

growing up of course as a jw child - birthdays couldn't be celebrated because the only instance of a birthday was when john the baptizer had his head cut off.

sooo... seams like "the memorial" shouldn't be celebrated because jesus was murdered.

just a thought.

The birth of Christ was not like baby gifts, this was major gift giving AFTER birth, so its not a baby shower to begin with..it sounds a little to eery to me like a birthday..a good point you made is anniversaries..are there any anniversaries of wife and husband in the bible?? could be..im just curious

wtbts uses the scripture to indicate that only the apostles (or anointed) were .

to partake in the emblems, but .... matthew 28:19-20. therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inthe name .

apostles should make disciples, but it doesn't say that disciples should.

Life Cereal

does anyone remember the ban on life cereal, because it was supposed to contain blood?

i've ben disfellowshipped for more than 20 years, so it's been quite a while since i heard this.

I remember I couldnt watch smurfs because they were demons..oh and any colgate products we did not buy (I think it was colgate) because the owner of the company made a pact with the devil supposedly...there was some emblem with a moon on the products at one time..

i've been out for nearly 3 years now.

i live in the territory but not once has jehovah witnesses knocked on my door - i haven't even seen them preaching in the area - or perhaps it's because i'm never at home in the mornings any longer.. if you have been called on, or offered magazine too - what do you say?.

Once in 7 years by me..but they come by to see my wife - she had some interest when I was not there..shame on her ..so now they try to sneek around my house when I am not there..One of them had their husband come to talk to me who is an elder, I think he isnt coming back to see me..

btw..wasnt the birth of Christ celebrated by the Kings or astrologers by bringing gifts to him on his birth?? Isnt this a form of birthday celebration?? just curious..

Asked a deep question to my father last night

im in bed trying to get shut eye and just cant because of this repeating question that i have in my head.

i know what the answer is to the question, but i need to hear it from the horses mouth.

so in my 30th hour of being awake i get the courage to dial 411 and call my father whos an elder that i havent spoken to for 10 years.

Alex - My dad shunned me for nearly 15 years..I never was disfellowshipped, in fact, I was a pretty decent guy just not HIM..i let him down in his eyes and he rode me out for about a year when I told them I did not take the ministerial servant duty..he took it so hard and i took verbal abuse by both parents that I left home before i was 18yo, I tried to reach them, but they werent having it..It went so far as to call me and say THEY DISOWN you, mind you, i was not a drug user, didnt really swear (I had personal moments), did okay in school..in the brothers eyey i was a decent brother..It just never for me, i did not once feel true spirituality as much as i prayed..nevertheless, I knew the road I was taking...Let me fast forward to a year ago. My brother, recently disassociated himself, he lost it completely, went from being an elder to being something I wasnt myself even today..It was with my younger brother (i got a few years on him) that my dad found that what he did to me he could not with the second son. My dad until this day has never apologize to me but we are in talking terms..See my dad was one of the Elders who lives by the book - there is no forgiving for sins or those who leave - even if its family - now he see the fruits of these ways of thinking, not all JW are like this with their families, but both your (me and you Ales) are similar...My dad told me "I wish I would have done things differently with you" - i knew this was hard for my dad to say (close enough to an apology)..and you know what - I LOVE MY DAD and I see it as a stepping stone. We no longer get into religious discussions and he never preaches to my brother. Even till this day, my sister who is a JW, has folks come to her asking about me, and they knew how my father was and they always said my dad was too rough..I am okay now..it hurt for years..it didnt just effect me but also my wife and my kids..but I prayed and my wife even sent a letter to my dad about ME, the 15-20 years he missed..the time he missed with his 1st two grandchildren..when he received it, it humbled him and he called my wife and they had their moment over the phone.. alex - your not alone..I am YOU - and there is hope..I'll pray on this for you but more so for you dad..
