now, this was done for jehovah.....and his representatives....jesus israelite kings and priests....but for the honour of jehovah not as creature worship which even angels would refuse.. also i studied the non-biblical early church gospels which really does show a slow decline over 150 years, into the trinity as the watchtower claims...........although i still hate the watchtower society at least i learnt something that wasn't a lie..

so that all of you are aware, in greek there is no such thing as 'A GOD' - they dont have caps in Greek everything is lower case - or rather no case. The "A" word also is not in Greek (but of course we have to fill those in when appropriate so that the translation to English is clear without compromise) there is only one article - that being a DEFINITE ARTICLE "THE" which can morph itself in 30 different ways but nevertheless still a DEFINITE ARTICLE - yet how does one determine INDEFINITES in Greek when in English we have two of them "a"(indefinite) and 'the' (definite) - do your research ;0)

In John 1:1 (original Greek) - there is 3 DEFINITE articles for 'the word' then there is 1 only for 'the god' and then there is none for 'god' on the second mention. You have to ask yourself why is 'the word' showing definiteness (everytime), and why does a highest title of intimacy such as 'the god' only has it once and there is a skip of it on the 2nd mention of 'god'

this is the same issue with acts 28:6

if you take the last portion of it, it will read from the original Greek to English

'they were saying he was god'

if you go now to your scripture you will see it as

'they were saying he was a god'

Obviously there are no doctrinal issue with Acts verse because its about Paul, the writer obviously was talking in 'INDEFINITE', thus add the 'a' makes much sense.

Why do JW's use different dating schemes?

well it seems that the jw's observe the passover, especially this year, utilizing the jewish calendar.

yet, why do they not use the jewish calendar for fixing 1914?

funny how they attempt to place the kingdom of god, and jesus ascension (1914) using the modern dating system, yet the ritual of honoring his covenant is based off a totally different dating scheme.
