by free2beme inmy mother once told me a story of how john denver supposedly hated jehovah's witnesses more then life itself.
my legend, these are two examples i heard while in the witnesses .... 1. at a john denver concert, he once asked all jehovah's witnesses in the audience to leave.. 2. johnny carson once asked him if he did this, and when he said he did, johnny carson asked him to leave the show in rehearsal and re-booked someone else.. ... awhile back i started looking on the internet for information on this and could not see any proof of this and wondered if anyone ever heard this before or was it just something that was in our area.
i have a feeling it is something others heard of.

We were supposed to worship the moon tonight! I forgot to tell ya.
by gumby inbeen wonderin why i been so horny lately...then i remembered...it's the full moon!.
i'll betch you guys didn't know what a big part our moon has played in worship and tonight is one of those nights but it's 10:10 pm and i just remembered.. the ancients reasoned "no one really knows what the moon is or what keeps it from falling on us.
it must be a god or controlled directly by one".. just think about how important the moon is to us.

Just think about how important the moon is to us. If we stopped worshipping it, and it went away, it would be dark at night. Women’s reproductive cycles would stop or go haywire and their damn periods would be all screwed up. Without the magic pull of the moon’s will, there might be no tides. Diseases would spread out of control without the healing moonbeams that stop sickness. This kind of power can only come from the hand of a god.....or at least a gumgod fer cripes sake!
Tonight is the night of the Rose Moon, also known as the Strawberry Moon, Lotus Moon, Green Corn Moon, Windy Moon, Dyad Moon, Planting Moon, Flying Fish Moon or Moon of Horses, depending on your culture and where the hell yer from.
I urge you to honor the full moon tonight in whatever way seems right to you. Personally, I like to build a bonfire, strip naked with about a dozen friends and dance in a circle....give a few sac shines if'n I got the time, and smoke a few to the moon god.
So please...if you see this tonight, give the moon some honor in case it gets pissed someday and yer huntin for your flashlight with Wallmart batteries in it.

i did not hear this myself from a speaker but got it second hand, and those who are faithful believe it.. so far 350 have been asked to leave, one couple with as much as 30 years full time service with most of it at bethel.. oc

Cannabis vs Alchohol and Other Man Made Pharmacuticals

i mean, what if i get prescribed/addicted to a pill, that one day i might not be able to afford?
(if you/i grow cannabis it's more/less free)... now the moral issue... who is more likely to beat the shit out of their kids?

ask anyone's who's developed a serious drink habit and they will often quote around 2 year recovery period, not 12 hours.
A two year recovery period seems it would make one an alcoholic. Alcoholics will always be alcoholics even if they are dry. It never goes away . The two year recovery period can be a nightmare for many.
With weed there is no physical symptoms as this and one is not always a stoner even if they are not using it. Also with weed, a daily user may oneday decide he doesn't like it anymore and ceases to use it....I've known many that say..."they just don't like it anymore"....however a daily user of booze in vast quanities over a period of say 10 years doesn't usually just quit.......without some serious side effects and their reasons for quiting are 90% of the time for a different reason than a pothead. Usually a drinker quits because of the problems it has caused them and a pot head.....just don't like it anymore.
This isn't to say those who quit weed didn't do so because of problems. It could be they have kids now or their job doesn't allow for it, or they now seem to get paranoid and it didn't used to affect them that way.
Gumby.....who's thankful he's never had a drinking problem and feels for those who do as it's a rough road.

ok i have googled this and can't find a list of foods that contain blood.. i have learned from this board that chocolate, milk and hotdogs contain blood.. does anyone know of more or when i can find a list of foods that contain blood?.
