Go back to the watchtower? You would have to have never believed it was false,..or...you know it is false but you want to go back because you cannot learn to function without it. Loss of family, friends, religion dosen't do the trick.
To belong to something makes you feel special , and so you go back as you can't find anything that makes you feel better.
To go back to an organization that has effected the lives of thousands with things such as, false prophecy,medical blunders that have cost the lives of an unknown amount, vaccinations,organ transplants,blood policy changes, suicides by the broken hearted who were expelled and lost family only because their consciences wouldn't allow them to believe the..."truth"........any longer. One would have to be emotionally weak to return to a group run by a bunch of senile old bastard's who don't even have the decency to say 'we are sorry" we have been wrong and hurt many"

my premise is that a persons unconscious mind has a positive intent in leading them back to the former environment and the intent is of intrinsic value within individuals.. developmental psychology tells us there are six primary developmental stages in a persons life.
if a person experiences developmental gaps or underdevelopment of a stage all the others that follow will not develop properly and these will be affected.

Very New Light
by Abaddon init has now been realised that the the inside leg measurements of several kings of israel had been left out of the count of years that traditionally resulted in 1914.. with this new light we have a clear demonstation of the power of biblical prophecy, as the count of years now ends in the fall of 2001, exactly when the 'king of the north' made himself apparent.. thus, we can again truly highlight jesus' words 'this generation will by no means pass away...' as being applicable now!
what joy, both for those that remained faithful to death, not running ahead of the fetid deodourant salve but waiting on jehovah, and for those who are alive now.
a generation is a score of years or so, so it is unlikely we will still see this wicked system of things in operation in 2025!.

An exjw's concerns and questions.
by NoLongerAjw inso i have been thinking and wondering, as exwitnesses how does this whole possibilty of war scare you.?.
we were taught for so long that things like this lead to the gt.
i thnk being a witness for so long makes this more scary then it really is.. i my self will probably go hide the day the world cries peace and security.. and is that something that my happen if they get all of the terriost?

NolongeraJw: I think much of what you are afraid of is from JW upbringing. Just because the US. is involved with major conflict, dosen't mean the end is near. Third world countries have been battling for years. It took me a while to rid myself of these men induced fears and they still haunt me and I have been out for 6 years.
You are not alone in being shook up over the recent tradgedy's as we all are. You will find a number of opinions on this board so don't get uptight when you read them. Be patient. Talk to ya later......off to work. P.S.

I would wonder if facts that are lacking are what makes non believers disbelieve in the bible, then why would anyone believe in satan who has not been factually proven existant? And where would anyone who disbelieves the bible get the name and idea of satan from?
