Expatbrit: Don't you know the society has nothing to apologize for!
It wasn't them who made all the mistakes....it was overzealous publishers that went ahead of Jehovah's arangement and were to eager for things to happen that didn't! Besides...any adjustment in their understanding of things is scripturally proper...it's like a ship "Tacking in the wind" it goes this way and that way but always arrives at the proper destination. Never mind all the families they have destroyed and all the false dates!!!!!..they always arrive at the proper destination!

The Pope is way ahead of the GB
by expatbrit inthe governing body could learn a few things from this guy:.
pope john paul ii has sent an apology by email for a string of injustices, including sexual abuse, committed by roman catholic clergy in oceania.
the 81-year-old pontiff transmitted the message, his first virtual apology, in a recent string of statements of contrition, from a laptop in the vatican's frescoed clementine hall on wednesday.

The Key To Happiness is...........

i heard that recently and it made think of the many of us who have suffered in our years of association with the wts.
trying to cope with a traumatic past is very difficult.

MINDCHILD:I think your personal attitude has a lot to do with how happy you are. There have been times when I've been filthy rich and had every toy I wanted and I wasn't all that much happier than I was going to college and taking an oath of poverty. If you recognize that you are responsible for your own happiness and that it is a choice you make to be happy or not, it can make a remarkable difference in your life.
I agree 100% with all of this statement. This has been one of the best cures for me!!!!

Hi shelby. I think you answer questions about christianity well except for why animals die in response to undecided. Only man was made in Gods image and could live immortal. Not animals. Life was never guarenteed to them forever.
I wanted to express my feeling's on this to answer undecided.
I feel the reason you get negative responses is your many of stating your feelings. You sound above all in the usage of the words MY lord and what he said to ME. As if others were not included in your close circle. By your responses you do feel others are the Lord's too but your manner of speakings rings different. -

Congradulations chucko for being blessed with a son who has made some good accoplishments. I wonder what I would be doing now had I went to colledge when colledge was not encouraged. I think the important thing is to make your life work regardless of what you do but working with your brain instead of your hands sounds good to me at 47. Take care and have a great thanksgiving with your family.

Shelby: For ease of understanding and so as not to complicate your text....why don't you just use the common word Jesus instead of the other two you use?

Is anyone looking for an ex-dub roommate?
by Mindchild ini thought i would post this and see what happens.... i'm wondering if anyone in the ex-dub community and who lives in the usa is looking for a roommate right now?.
my business requires me to do a lot of traveling but for several reasons i've decided that i want to have a home base where i can leave my stuff, make myself some home cooked meals (resturant food gets old if you eat out all the time) and just do some r&r on my days off.
i can certainly afford to rent an apartment or house (up to $1,000 a month) but then there is no cool people to talk with and all that jazz.
