  we heard new light this evening.

  a local needs talk was given about how anyone that knows someone might be dating a non- witness and doesn't report it to the elders is actually hindering the free flow of jehovah's holy spirit.

  yes, if the "sin" goes unreported, the whole congregation will be affected, just as in the case of achan and his family!

  Actually, a broad policy has been in force for quite some time that covers this and other similar situations.

  A watchtower article about reporting sin was covered years ago they basically said if any baptized witness does not report anything that might bring reproach on Jehovah or his organisation, or knows of someone sinning and dosen't report it.....they are guilty themselves.

  This could cover any number of things. Some might report the case mentioned....others may not. However.......if reported....it would be investigated.

  So someone is dating a non-dubite in your congregation eh? I'll bet the worldly person is a bad person.

  when i was around 4 or 5 years old, my mother got a call from a jehovah's witness.

  i had a very difficult time making a decision whether to go to the funeral or not.

  neither of us were ever baptized, and i believe that i made the right decision.

  I still believe in God, but I don't believe in organized religion.

  I'm glad for them in this way. They have joined a large crowd of likewise feelings.

  Every problem they mentioned, stemmed from religion.

  A young girl saddened and hurt, a father shunned, a father loses his daughter/ wife, a wife loses/leaves her mate......why?

  Because an organisation made another wrong rule.....and they believed it.

  I feel proud for the father who held his belief as did the daughter.

  Sooooo ...which one/ones, do you feel God would be unhappy with?

  do you remember how many people would buy a car, with service in mind?

  i remember people talking about how not to buy a 2 door, because it is not as good for going out in service.

  people would be looked down upon big time if they bought a sporty or compact car.

  Back in late 1960's and early 1970's things were a little easier on little dubbies, but even then, COs were still assholes.

  Oh ya! I well remember as a young teen, of the bigger dub brothers having vets, mercedes, porsches, triumps, and other sporty cars. They would cruise southern cal. beaches with their shades on and enjoying the worldly fleshly scenery and makeing lovely comments. Some even gave rides.......EEEEEEEHAAAAAAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  BrotherX reveals Purpose of Door-to-Door Ministry

  let's call him "brotherx" - an elder who either has heard from the circuit overseer "by word of mouth" or has come to the conclusion himself about why jehovah's witnesses are determined to reach every person on the planet with .

  "the message of hope.

  " i'll try to paraphrase some of his comments.. brotherx explained to me and others in the congregation that we "work our territories to essentially decide who lives and dies at armageddon.

  Does it make sence to punish someone who has sinned for 70 years, to eternal pain and anquish forever??????????
