  I'm a dad again!! How do you ladies do it...

  just had my third child - still in the dazed, lack of proper sleep and food phase.

  i have to say - credit to my wife and all you mothers out there, how the hell do you go through it!?

  i had that numb, helpless, car crash look as she went through the wringer and all i could do was pass the gas and air and mumble - 'you're doing really good.

  does it say anything in the bible about the fall of false religion?

  before the end will come , is it really clear that it means exactly that ?

  Not specifically. Jesus said every tree not producing fruit would be cut down and thrown in the fire but he gave no specifics on whether the tree typified an individual or a group.

  As for Babylon being destroyed, remember it came from the book of Revelation for one ( a book that wasn't in the bible canon untill the 4th century because of it's wackyness), and that "Babylon" is widely disputed as to who she typifies. As for her "waters drying up", would you say religion is losing....or gaining members?

  In my town there is no sign of religion closing their doors as there seems to be a church on every block.

  I need some friends

  i have such a difficult time living a double life, i dont hate going to meetings and seeing the friends i just know it is not real and i dont like being there.

  but since i can not get my husband (who is also inactive) to just leave for good we go back from time to time.. my older son really hates it all his friends from the hall are either in jail or in a gang it was difficult to keep him in the truth because of seeing so many of his friends doing badly.

  i finally allowed him to just have worldly friends and he is fine, in fact some of the jws would ask if their children could come over and spend time with my son and we were not even active.. i know i can never go back to the jws, i realize it is false but i also know that we all need to keep praying to god and i believe that god is jehovah, some people just need to do it in a building and need to belong to a place where people treat them like they are some body.

  Hi Jonie. I'm in the same boat you are with a believing mate and I too go to the meetings in order to keep my family. Take what good you can from the meetings and let the rest go out the other ear for now and always realize that there are many inside who would jump ship if it didn't have horrible repercussions on them. Most are good people who think they have nowhere else to go for truth.

  and, by life--i mean the unavoidably real events we cannot wish away.. each of us is capable of avoiding unpleasant thoughts.

  What I want to know what is real or not is Terry's boobs.

  If a person does not ponder things.... while doing other things, how can plans be made? If I'm building a fence but have an appointment to go to later in the day, I have to remind myself of that appointment. I also have to think of what other things I could do while I'm in town.

  So, since a person can think much faster than one hears, how is it we all need to only live in the moment?

  Why don't the stones cry out?

  jesus said at luke 19:40 "if these remained silent the stones would cry out" .

  my question is why don't the stones cry out in areas where the preaching work is banned or has very few witnesses?

  both india and china have populations in excess of 1 billion people, but very very few dubs to spread the "good news".

  Excellent question.

  I've always wondered myself how the witnesses can really explain how every single individual on the planet could hear the "good news". Some have said "Jehovah will read the hearts". He will supposedly know if certain ones would take the good news if it were offered them, others have said they will all "somehow know". If armeggedons due at any time, then for Jehovah to "somehow make everyone know...he'd have to perform a miraculous feat as he did in the bible stories. I wonder how his presentation would sound.

  :Jehovah. "Hi there, I was just in your neighborhood today and was asking people if they thought I'd ever step in and solve all the wordls problems we see so much of today"

  Muslim: "Sadda hedre ombama canno e salvah ohem"

  Jehovah: Hang on there, let me get out my little book that translates stuff that the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society puts out.....Hmmmm. Damn, I can't find it. How about I give you this book that will tell you our message for a small donation to support our work"

  Muslim: "Sebamma mama" ...(which means, huh?)

  Jehovah: *hands book to Muslim and waves goodbye*

  Armageddon comes

  Jehovah kills Muslim for using the little book for him and his family to use to wipe their asses with.

  Hi Flipster.

  I understand what your saying, but that doesn't address my point. I want to know whether a creator exists or not, if there are spiritual entities or not, and whether our consciousness self continues on in a similar fashion.

  I gotta take a nap so I'm checkin out.

  Ozmeister, whadya mean you wasn't gonna participate. I've never seen the ozmeister NOT voice his opinion.......at least at some point

  It's ok though meister, I still pray in Jesus name just in case he's the real Macoy.

  My point was that I wonder if there even IS a spiritual side to life. I won't to know if there is one to be truely had. I can't figure out why it doesn't let me know since I'm so persistant but eveidently if something exists, they've got a good reason for not speaking to me.

  My concerns? One of my concerns....and a big one, is I still do not know if a spiritual life exists other than in the mind.

  I still want to know how everything in existance started and if a conscience entity is responsible and what their intentions were/are.

  That's about as simple as I can make it.

  Abrahams wife Sarah was actually his half sister

  reading through genesis has been an eyeopener for me.

  i was surprised to read in chapter 20 that sarah was in fact abrahams half sister.

  in verse 12 of this chapter, it mentions how abraham and sarah both had the same father, but different mothers.
