  hi im from italy.

  im new here i would like know new friends.. my english is very poor.. but few few i read and understand.. i have discovered a lot of things that i was in the dark on wts.. i am reading book crisis of conscience.

  if someone recommends me to read anything other in italian language i will be very happy.. i was jw after ex jw and now are jw , have come back because my children and wife are jw and friends of my children are all wj.. so hard left all.

  My wife was invited to the Memorial

  so here i am moving furniture from downstairs to upstairs and from upstairs to downstairs (yes i'm very sore today) when there comes a knock at the door.

  two witnesses, man and wife, that nina has known since the 70's had come over to invite her to the memorial.

  never mind she hasn't talked or heard from then in over a decade.. they made a point of ignoring me, and spoke only to nina.

  I know Wifey and I are going to get a few invites, from family and friends we still have contact with,and so as not to alert the Aposta-Radar we are going to say "We will attend,but not in ..........."

  Of course we won't ever go to a KH again,but we may attend something, sometime,so it's just Theocratic warefare,not lying,in order to keep the fade going.

  what denomination did you originally belong to before becoming a jehovah's witness?.

  i was methodist.

  i was horrified when attending my first jw meeting and hearing the simple piano music over the speakers ... compared to the live orchestra performed at the methodist church.

  Throughout the history of JW's, what years do think they strayed most from being "God's People"? Who was responible for this,and why do you think this?

  I heard a famous guy on the radio say that if he was ever asked a long question he simply said "No",never listened to the question!

  I agree with the above,never were God's people,not ever close either.

  Gee, thanks for posting,if only I hadn't stopped going out in the FM in spring 2007 because in all conscience I could not teach things that are not in the Bible,1914,Paradise Earth,no Blood transfusion etc etc I may have found this of use.

  Which group would you say J-dubs hate more?

  catholics or born again christians?.

  i know someone who doesn't believe the j-dub doctrines but anytime he talks to a non-witness about religion he takes on this arrogant attitude that.

  the witnesses know more about the bible than any other religion.

  The dangers of leading a double life

  the wbts regularly warns it's members about the dangers of attempting to lead a double life.

  "it can cost you dearly", they counsel the jw youth; "causing a loss of trust and a bad conscience".. fact is, the governing body know this through bitter experience.

  they tried to secretly maintain a relationship with the united nations whilst publically condemning it as a harlot-like wild beast and tool of satan.

  I am living a double life to a very small degree.I walked out of a Kingdum Hell a year ago never to go back but I don't wish to be DF'd as I have a vast extended family still "in",so officialy if I was ever to be asked,especially by two Witlesses,I would say I believe all the Bull***t teachings.

  This feels what it is,dishonest,but I justify it to myself because I believe I will be able to help many out.

  Disfellowshipping resended? Anybody ever heard of it?

  sometime last year, around september or october, i was apparently disfellowshipped.

  i say "apparently" because i never heard the announcement.

  i faded years ago and haven't been to a meeting in years.

  So let me get this straight

  a web site called jehovah-witness.net where x-jw's and jw's who pretend to be jw's come to chat about how bad jehovah witnesses are and how they brain washed them etc, would it not be more productive to move on and forget than to let something most of you obviously hate take so much of your time and effort.. for some being a jw is about not being part of the world, what other religion is there that is as moral as a jw.

  i am d'fed but i belive that jw's are the true religion.

  sure some of them can be self righteous pricks but there imperfect just like anyone else,we all need to focus on us and not worry about what there doing because we can't change them.. .

  Now the board is open again,I was hoping we would get someone like Ice having a pop,I suspect he may really be an invention by someone on here,nobody is really that cultish after reading a little on here,surely?(The clue is the bad spelling and grammer,just like good old Reniaa)

  It may be time to ask for JW Apologists to state their case again,it is such fun to see the lack of evidence,scriptural back-up,and cogent thought that they spout.
