we know very well that human judicial systems are flawed.. we know even better that our lives may pass away before these flawed judicial systems are replaced by one perfect judicial system established by god under christ.. living under the auspices of a flawed judicial system is difficult because it is like a "teeter totter" or like a scale that rarely is perfectly balanced.
it goes one direction or another.
the marble statue of a blindfolded lady holding a balanced scale of justice in her hand is the intended result of justice, not the result in real life.. in the case of protecting the rights of those who are victimized by child abusers, while also protecting the rights of those falsely accused of child molestation, no perfect balance is humanly possible on this side of armageddon.. therefore, proplog2, what shall it be?.
Do we slaughter a person accused of child molestation whom God knows is innocent by sending them to prison -- only to discover years from now they were innocent -- because at the present time we are not absolutely sure they are innocent?Or,
Do we slaughter a little lamb to protect the adult who might be innocent?
100 guilty men must go free just so 1 innocent man isn't condemned. Thats the lines I believe the judicial system should follow...thats how rigorous with the evidence we must be.

i have in previous posts alluded to genesis being compiled from different sources.
theories about a multi-source origin go back as least as far as 1711. some scholars subscribe to the idea that the torah is made up from four different sources.
to illustrate the point examine the following account from genesis.
