I have wondered about this for a long time. What does the bible have to say about it if at all?

Thanks guys for all the info. Seems like the WT doesn't have anything recent to say about this topic. I was hoping to ambush my Mom or one of my sisters and see what they had to say. They have hounded me to come back to "the truth" for a long, long, time....*sigh* I want to corner them on a subject they know nothing about and watch them squirm!

What I really want to know is what the WT says about Neanderthal man. Do they believe in it? What do they have to say about the scientific proof that we weren't the only humanoids?

Hey everyone! I'm resposting a thread I started in the begining of the month. I didn't get a chance to check on it and reply to the few people that responded to it. I thank everyone who did. Here is the post:
Hello guys! I have been MIA for a while, but now I'd like to share my new situation and get some feedback: Last year, I was diagnosed with rapid cycling bipolar disorder. My husband (who is not a JW) and my very JW family didn't take it seriously. I went without meds for a few months before I ended up in a mental hospital. After that, both my husband and my family got involved with my treatment. It's been a year sincie my hospitalization and my situation hasn't imporved. My husband and I are separated because he can't deal with my illness and my mother keeps hounding me about coming back to the "truth". She tells me that the only way I'm going to get better is to embrace Jehovah. This is a very long story, which I will explain in lenght in a later thread. I'm very manic and can't concentrate right now. Does anyone know what kind of info the WT gives to JW's on how to deal with bipolar? I've read a few articles and they are right on the money. What I don't understand is why my mother won't stop hounding me about coming back. Any suggestions on what I can say to her? Help!

Thank you all for your advice. I've been taking Lexapro 20mg for two and a half years. I was on AmbienCR for a year and a half. When I was in the hospital they put me on Lamectal 150mg. It didn't do much for me, and I developed an allergic reaction to it 2 weeks after starting it. I am now taking Seroquel 150mg and it seems to be working. I'm cycling much slower and my manic episodes aren't as severe. I am also taking Vistril 50mg and Ativan .5mg for my anxiety. I am doing everything I can to lead a normal life. I see a therapist once a week. I have a great support group. So, to summerize I'm taking: Lexapro 20mg, Seroquel 150mg, Vistaril 50mg, and Ativan .5mg.
