You have no idea. When we were on vacation in a tropical location earlier this year, we observed a "sundog" (look it up). My parents immediately concluded that it was a "sign in the heavens" and that Armageddon had begun!
Never heard a word about that since.

How to Endure Meetings Constructively - My Approach

i've recently developed a method whereby i tune out all the proceedings from the platform and audience, and take to reading acts (i've just begun to learn a great deal about roman history via audio cds from the teaching company, which i listen to on my long commute to work).
the lecturers on these all highly praise the accuracy of the book of acts and all the gospels in general, in terms of their accurate depiction of life in judea and the hellensitic kingdoms under roman rule.

Non JWs cannot survive Armageddon. Only those who can patiently sit through 5 hours of meetings a week plus frequent Grand Boasting Sessions will have the endurance required to "run the race to the end." Hell, Armageddon will be a walk in the park after a lifetime of that. Non dubs don't stand a chance!

"And those slain by Jehovah will certainly come to be in that day from one end of the earth clear to the other end of the earth. They will not be bewailed, neither will they be gathered up and buried. As manure on the surface of the ground they will become."
(the only reason I even know that scripture is becuase it was discussed at length with great relish at the last public talk.)

others, well ... i'm not one for scientific studies.
nor why one thing works and another will not, despite the time and effort put into it (whatever the thing/endeavor happens to be).. kindly inform me if you, in passing by and, having nothing better to do of a saturday eve, happen to see this post but have no intention of responding.. perhaps this is rocket science after all.. thank you for reading though finding no necessity to reply ....
