Fall 2008 One Day Assembly....what is the theme?

my wife is attending the assembly this upcoming weekend, is there a posted agenda and can any of you provide a summary of what is discussed so i know what she will be hyped up about when she gets back?.

you get in their car and the kingdom melodies are playing on prerecorded piano... you go to their house and there they are in an orchestral arrangement... even when i was a complete believer i cringed when i had to hear this banal crap!

bad day today...how the hey did everyone miss this??

?....or did i miss a post about it?.....i am not supposed to talk about anything jw with my hardcore jw wife...but while on the toilet takin care of biz..i was reading the lit she leaves in a basket...it was a wt..july 08, but dont know which one....once i showed it to her it disappeared...but damm the last page i think... it had a drawing of jesus and the text under it said this "jesus used the name jehovah in his prayers"....or close....and that is a fluckkin lie!...zero support for it!...so i said just freakin show me where he did...i think my pants were still down...i had already come to terms with the fact that jesus never once uttered the name jehovah ever...because what kid...esp in a serious discussion with his dad (like prayer) would ever call him by his first name???

?...she disagreed...how i dont know...but where is the evidence that jesus ever said the divine name in a prayer?!?!!??

One question, in the mind of a JW, is the NT written only to the anointed?

Primarily, but the "other sheeps" are like the "little dogs" that get to eat crumbs from the table of their master.

In other words, it gives them a foolproof solution for all their mind control needs - anything in the NT that conflicts with their teachings is "for the anointed, so don't worry about it", and anything that they can use to manipulate their followers is "inspired of god and beneficial for teaching".
