Make August 2009 the dawn of the "mass exodus"...the beginning of the end of the Watchtower org!
by koolaid-man inthe watchtower organization is without doubt doing everything they can to keep their business afloat.
they are at a critical point in their ever so blemished present condition.
there is simply too much genuine criticism from not only those on the outside but, also from those on the inside.

I would say I was the bible's advocate hehe
but as to births and deaths an interesting side point is fertility rates are dropping quite a lot, we are now at replacement level globally which means population will decline over the next generations.
the worries over supporting an aging population is why governments encourage working families and encourage children in developed countries to increase the childbirth levels which in some developed countries is running at subreplacement levels which is not good.
For those who recall the "population bomb" panic of the 1970s, most of this probably sounds like good news. However, while we used to think that declining birthrates were strictly a matter of conscious choice, some scientists now wonder whether one reason we don't have more children is that we can't. A host of biological factors can contribute to reduced fertility, including the trend toward starting families later in life (older women have a tougher time conceiving); more sexually transmitted diseases; increased obesity, smoking, and alcohol consumption (in some quarters, anyway); and greater exposure to chemicals.

You haven't been on the official website lately?
they are gradually getting all the publications available to read fully on there.
http://www.watchtower.org/e/bh/article_00.htm
Here's the full 'what does the bible teach' book. I shouldn't think it will be long all before every publication is up and available for interested people. Full NWT is available too.
They do want to utilise the internet but you cannot guarentee people will search the internet specifically for witnesses. Going on the doors is the personal touch.

1 Corinthians 1:19-20 (New International Version)
19 For it is written:
"I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate." [a]20 Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?

Is the Nonbeliever at Fault fo Rejecting God?
by leavingwt inis the nonbeliever at fault for rejecting god?.
1. if one is adequately informed of the consequences of a decision, and willfully choosing to make that decision is clearly irrational, then it is irrational to willfully choose to make it.
9. therefore, those nonbelievers' moral or reasoning faculties are defective.

Guys our personal opinions are fine but just not biblical so ultimately not true compared to the bible warnings.
Hebrews 10:26-31 (New International Version)
26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," [a] and again, "The Lord will judge his people." [b] 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Hebrews 10:39 (New International Version)
39 But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.

Recently disfellowshipped prominent Assembly overseer in Western Europe now speaking out against the Watchtower org.
by the research lady informer elder, and assembly overseer roberto from france will be joining barbara and joe anderson on tonight's conference call, july 18,2009. roberto was disfellowshipped in june 2009 and after many faithful years of service is now joining thousands of others who are speaking out against the evils of the watchtower organization.
our call tonight will be focused on how the country of france, as well as other european countries are investigating jehovah's witnesses.
the watchtower organization is experiencing difficulties in these countries for the inhumane treatment and exerting too much control over people's lives.

Hi Cog
show me one set of God's people that didn't have organisational issues due to imperfection?
angels came down and currupted mankind adding genetic abnomalies so needing a flood.
israelites spent 40+ in a desert because they couldn't take direction from God's through his chosen one Moses.
Jews kept trying to find loopholes to get past God's laws ultimately not recognising the prophesied messiah when he came, technically they are still looking for him.
Appostles constantly arguing over who was the greatest even after Jesus's death people kept trying to put individual appostles up above others and constant need for counciling off Paul. Divisions were rife as well as people continuing to sin wilfully against God's words.
How can we expect to be any better?
WE ARE IMPERFECT! this is a fact we must live with until Jesus returns, war, drug abuse, arrogance, Greed, powermongering and so much more are facts of our lifes until Jesus's return but should we wallow in them?
We are constantly warned by the bible these are things we will have to deal with. We are constantly under attack by satan who wants his proof against God. but we have no choice but waiting until Jesus comes, until...
1 Corinthians 13:10
but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. Are our governments and other religions any better? No they show all the same issues and problems but Jesus teaches forgiveness and repentence. We can wallow in this world enjoying Lots wife's choice but are we prepared for the consequences of God accepting that we have rejected his offer in favour of what we currently have?
1 John 2:17
The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.I am Jehovah's witness because they follow Jehovah and his son Jesus and try and implement bible laws not perfectly and constantly fighting culteral and satanic pressures to warp viewpoint of what is acceptable. I Follow them because doctrinely they are like a full meal after the babyfood of Christendom that can add no bibilical depths to it's heaven and hell doctrine.
The thing is why would apostates tempt me when their condition has become so far removed from God than it was before? and they have turned away from God completely not just the JWs?
Matthew 12:43-45 (New International Version)
43 "When an evil [a] spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. 44 Then it says, 'I will return to the house I left.' When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. 45 Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation
