  my grandson had a boy yesterday.

  he seems so happy.

  he thought he had a boy a few years ago but it turned out to be someone else's child.

  that a surpreme being is gonna help us?.

  on another thread that i started i asked what is wrong with the new age ideas.

  some people seem so afraid of it.. one poster mentioned that new age stuff is incorrect because jesus is for sure gonna come take us away from this world.. now i am opened minded.

  today was garbage pick up day.

  i'm sitting at my desk at 7:15 this morning when the truck pulls up.

  i watch as the guy gets out, flips the lid off the garbage can and lifts it into the hopper, gives it a couple of wacks, then sets it back and puts the lid on.

  just can't seem to shake this double-life persona....probably because as a born in dub, i started faking flag salute and pledge of alliegence in third grade....who want to feel like a freak in third grade...geeze.. double-life went into high gear though starting with junior high school and those damn breasts started poppin out!

  how could you not want play with those?

  so for me....school boobs were way easier than kingdom hall boobs....way safer too.

  How was marriage viewed in your congregation?

  i ask because i see a lot of posts here about how the borg discourages marriage.

  my experience is quite the opposite.

  young people were pressured into getting married the minute someone from the cong.

  I thought it was pretty ironic that more than half of the congregation had been divorced and remarried. Some of them even while they were Jdubs.... Go freakin' figure. One elder was even disfellowshipped for his divorce because he was the first one to be promiscuous. (I hope I spelled that right) Same elder was disfellowshipped for stealing too. Now he's a P.O......

  for some strange reason i can not get to sleep this past week or so.....i am talking watch news, watch letterman, conan, the englishter..oh and usually on jwd a bunch too...and still up til 2:00 or 2:30 est...... so when do you usually turn in?..........oompa.
