  and no... it has nothing to do with pot.

  my check engine light came on last night and the computer code was p0420... the catalytic converter, bank 1. .

  does anyone in the dfw area know anyone who does this kind of work on the side?

  It's your oxygen sensor. It gets covered with soot from the exhaust and doesn't respond properly. I'll cost about $300.00----$400.00.

  every day either on the way to work or coming home i pass people with signs begging on the side of the road.

  i'm curious if anyone here gives them money....i have from time to time, i tend to give more to women then men...i suppose i identify more with them...a kind of "under different circumstances that could be me" feeling i get... .

  I can't make it from the train station to work without encountering a begger. There's this guy who's been begging for money cause he needs a train ticket to Portland Maine. He's been going to Portland for almost 6 months now. Only suckers give money. Everyone has a story....

  i remember a post a few days ago titled "have you ever gotten back at the congregation/elders" or somethin like that.

  and now.....i think i have the answer.

  all these elders think they can go around, saying their shit doesn't stink and disfellowship anyone who disagree's with them or the organization, or if they "get ahead of jehovah".

  How about writing a letter of dis-association and sign it with the elders name. Mail it to Brooklyn with the elders return adress on the envelope and watch the fun begin. I'd like to see him explain that one to the other elders once word gets back to them.

  when i first came on thie board, there was a lot of attention to it.

  someone mentioned in another post peoples attention span in todays instant gratification society that when a subject is'nt in the media spotlight, it kinda goes away.

  i want people to know that these court cases are still ongoing, & sometimes they take years to resolve.

  I agree, Sometime these things are forgotten with time. The Watchtower has worked very hard at becoming spin doctors for over 100 years, they are masters of deception. However, I will never forget, as my ex-wife was molested by a congregation member. Every chance I get, I spread the word about this f*cking cult.

  Well, my family dis-owned me over 4 years ago and I have no contact with them. However they are willing to talk to my fiancee, they really like her and think she is a very nice worldy girl. The truth of the matter is, she is also an ex-jw and she had pioneered for years. I call her my ace in the hole. Whenever she tells me of her conversations with my family members I always have a big smile on my face because they don't realize who their dealing with. This has been going on for a couple of years now. Only time will tell how this will work out.
