  Do u know any JW"s that have suicided?

  sorry if this is a sad question, but i know of 3 jw's that have suicided.

  i haven't known any personally, but i was wondered if you know any or know of any jw's that have suiced?

  and do you know the reason why?

  Paternity and DNA

  there was an interesting case on tv the other day about a man whose wife had a child and he believed that this was his child until the wife told him she had relations with another man around the time that the child was conceived.

  he was devastated to learn that this child whom he considered his own, might in fact, not be his.. a dna test was done and confirmed this man's worst fear: he was not the father.

  if you were in a similar situation, what would you do?

  I Hate a Theif..!!

  two weeks ago on a monday afternoon our house was broken into and we were robbed.

  the theives took all of tink's jewelry she owned and some of mine as well.

  she was wearing her wedding ring at the time but everything else is gone.

  Jeez, sorry to hear what happened. You may want to consider a small video camera. Even though it seems like closing the barn door after the horse left, it could be helpfull in the future. We never expect these things to happen to us.

  in summary.....i met my bf 2 years ago when he was going thru a divorce, he is jw and so is she.

  he had an affair in first year of marriage stopped it and told her about it, confessing his sin and guilt and begging forgiveness.

  she was distraught and left him along with the baby that was just born....he begged for over a year for her to go back to him but she refused and barely let him see the child he loved.

  Sorry to put it so bluntly, but this guy is f*cked in the head and if you stay with him for any length of time he'll f*ck your head up. Do yourself a favor and let him take responsibility for his life. You have a whole life ahead of you. You don't need the agravation that comes with his bagage.

  Sox, Cubs......I Believe

  i believe in curses.

  the billygoat.

  the bambino.. the sox just lost to the yankees 6-5 after leading by three in the 8th.. we all know what happened to the cubs.. and i believe in the rally monkey too, from last year's angels (though i guess he's looking for work these days, poor little fella).. this is all in kidding, but it does make me wonder.....are some teams "cursed"?

  I had not followed the sox since Buckner allowed the ball to roll through his legs in 1986. However a friend of mine who is a die hard sox fan re-awakened my interest in them this year. Once again I wish I was back asleep. We literally gave them the game. Shame on me for thinking they could do it. LONG LIVE THE CURSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  How many of you called "911" to report abuse by a JW?

  how many of you called "911" (in the united states, "911" is the emergency telephone number to the police) to report some kind of abuse (as defined by law) by a jw?

  usually most jw?s report a serious matter to the elders, as encouraged by the watchtower!

  but how many of you actually figured-out you needed to report a serious matter to the police?

  After I told my JW wife I was going to divorce her, she threatened suicide and to take me down with her. Called 911 and the police showed up right away. That was 8 years ago.

  When we were teenagers, my friends and I would roam the neighborhood at night, pick up dog poop and stuff it underneath car door handles. Would have loved to see the looks on their faces when they went to get in their car the next morning.
