I was not employed during the day so I had a lot of free time. I had been feeling down, so of course everyone told me to do more and then I would feel better. I started going out in service all day, everyday, thinking boy I should start to feel great since I should be getting Jehovah's blessing poured onto me. Often I would go home because there was no one else out, or there would be two people at the meeting and they were going to a bible study so I couldn't come. Most days we just drove around, took like 2 return visits, then went and had breakfast. I always came home feeling irritated and exhausted. I have never looked back.

Some JW's are sooooo inconsiderate...
by rache31 ini was at the eye doctor yesterday, after an emergency room visit.
i had an injury to my eye, fortunately minor, and my doctor wanted to examine it.
two witnesses were in the office waiting room and spotted me right away.

May I add that I find many Witnesses, esecially younger ones like in their teens and early adulthood have NO social skills to speak of! They were raised in this bubble not being able to say anything that wasn't written down for them in a book or magazine, so I suppose we must forgive them if they don't know how to relate to people. I work with people with special needs and one of them has Asberger's. All I could think is how similar some of her mannerisms were to those of the sisters that were my age.

I don't think that this song is overtly sexual, but it does seem to be about two people who are in love and expressing it somewhat physically. I don't think that this song is the most appropriate for a 10 year old's church program. But, I do agree that you should not bring it to her attention, so perhaps you could just tell her there are other songs that she does better?

I will tell you from personal experience that nothing that those rude sisters could say could be worse than the pain and regret you may feel later when you realize that you gave up your dream of going to college, and for what? Please don't do it! Go to college if that's what you want for your life!
