  Have you read my experience in the Awake?Read this

  many of you already know my real name.i'm the one whose experience was published in the sep 8 1994 awake mag.

  i would like to stress that although i have good reason to be angry and bitter, nothing i say here is said in anger but only in sadness.

  i write this to say that if i could take back many of my words i said in that experience , i would.

  Thanks for posting your story.I get embarrassed when I look back at some of the things I told people when I was in the bOrg.I now realize how silly I must have seemed to others.We were all only doing what we thought we should do and what they trained us to do.

  News From Circuit Assembly

  my sister called this morning at the crack of dawn, to inform me of some info.. from the circuit assembly over this past weekend.i suppose this is new light.

  although she did not put it in those words.seems there is a new do in our .

  neck of the woods, he gave the public talk sunday and i quote".

  President Bush's speech

  i wanted to hear the president's speech tonight, but can't stand listening to the man.

  he has a prepared speech but he keeps saying nuc-you-lar instead of nuc-le-ar.

  i can't stand it.. you would think his people would walk him through correct pronunciation.

  I remember when Jimmy Carter pronounced it "nucular".It was so irritating to hear the President mis-pronounce such a simple word.Bush does this with a lot of words though.Someone should correct him.I know if he was in the TMS in my old hall,the overseer wouldn't hesitate to correct him in front of the whole congregation.

  what the hell is wrong with you lot.....ok although i'm inactive, and many of you will tell me to get my ass back to the kh and stay off sites like these if i don't like it,........i have to say that reading some of your posts from the past couple of days has been a really a hard slog, some of you have spent time in previous posts deriding jws for claiming to be "the happiest people on earth"......but from someone who's inactive, and on this side of the fence, i don't smell no roses much from where you're coming from.

  what is wrong with you happy apostates, i thought you said life outside the borg(tm) was just great.

  I am a very happy person now.The only thing that makes me unhappy are my memories of being a JW.That's why most people sound unhappy when they post here.It's those terrible memories they're re-living.Thanks to Simon for making this site where we can vent and get it out of our systems.

  I drifted away in January of this year and only two pioneer sisters have been by a couple of times.No elders at all.I say just go ahead and live your life the way you want to and don't worry about what they say or do.See what mind control can do to people?

  have you thought of going back to meetings?

  that is, to find disfellowshipped people who need support or advice?

  if you've been to meetings since being disfellowshipped, i take it you'll know that they all sit at the back and leave straight away so they are easy to spot.

  i continued to attend for several months after being disfellowshipped and met up with several disfellowshipped persons, although i had to attend several times as they didn't appear to make all the meetings (they must be spiritually weak or something lol).

  Just the thought of standing there singing those kingdom melodies about the love among them is repulsive to me.It is all such a bunch of hogwash I wouldn't want to be there for any reason.
