Could Watchtower Collapse Be Sooner Than You Think?
by metatron inthere have been a number of developments over the past few months and they paint an interesting picture.. witnesses can keep dragging themselves to meetings ad infinitum however, the future of the watchtower itself is another story.
the evidence of continuing cash flow problems is now overwhelming.
if you talk to well placed witnesses, most won't deny it but simply blame it on the publishers financial problems.. they have cut off loans to congregations many of whom genuinely need new kingdom halls.

He said to me, you know, that can all end, and she said, he's talking about the new system. I said , I know, they've been saying that for the last 134 years. He said, well its really getting close now and I said, yeah, They've been saying THAT for the last 134 years. They didn't say anymore about it, we just said our good byes and walked away.
I bet she run's to my daughter with that. I don't care, I'm not in a mind control cult and can speak my own mind!
Any way, it just made me feel good to say that to them!!!!

Hello everyone
by Wordlygirl ini have been lurking on here for some time and i finally decided to join the fray.
i am 25 years old and was raised in the society.
fortunately when i was 8, my father left the organization and this allowed me to see the wrold from both angles, the jw (mom) and not (dad).. at first, i was strongly on the side of the witnesses and i even allowed myself to be convinced that getting baptised at 11 was a good idea.

My wounds opened up badly today
by Maddie inthe past three weeks having been so stressful and very sad.
my ex husband died after being in hospital for just over a week in intensive care.. i was just 18 and he was 21 when we first met and after a whirlwind romance we married 6 months later and have two sons together who are now adults.
although our marriage ended after 25 years and i remarried 7 years ago, he was my first love and i knew him for most of my life.

Maddie, I feel so sad for what is being done to you and to your grand-daughter. I like the letter you wrote to the paper, the more that get's out to the public the better.
I hope one day the WT is brought down and all this bs comes to an End. Those are the Last Day's I'm waiting for. Hang in there, maybe one day you will get reuntied with your angel.

by Lady Lee infew of my threads get to 3 pages of responses and i suspect that i am the one who pushes it by responding to everyone.
who posts.. but i know people read my posts.. there have certainly been times when i needed the support and got it.
but those times are fewer now.. sometimes i feel like i am repeating myself and i probably am.
