  i walked in and as usual elders are talking with fellow elders.

  JW Board Game?

  i seem to remember a board game in my youth that was in some way endorsed by the jw powers that be.

  there were shekel's involved etc.

  any idea's what this was?.

  Imagine a MONOPOLY (on God) style game for Jehovah's Witnesses with cards like:

  CHANCE: You have been caught by the elders spreading apostasy. Go to the backroom. Do not pass GO. Do not collect time.

  CHANCE: Take a ride in a four door car to PARADISE STREET! If owned, keep your filthy propaganda literature to yourself!

  TREASURE CHEST: The Governing Body wants you to visit BETHEL! Collect respect from the congregation!

  TREASURE CHEST: Partake in the emblems! You have been ANOINTED!

  The IRS took my money. :(

  this year i owed money to the irs.

  (the result of cashing in some investments so i could put a down-payment on my first house... i owed taxes on the "income").

  i mailed off the check the other day and today i looked at my bank account online.

  My point exactly, undercover. Thanks! Will the future generations think our telephone lines were lined up on a single upright pole without a cross beam? How embarrassing if that should happen! Who do we blame?

  Answer: Telephone pole.

  Now, notice the cross beam at the top? It's still known as a telephone POLE and never renamed as a telephone CROSS.

  Think about that.

  material: appears to be gopher wood.

  description: i recently purchased a small parcel of land on mount ararat and found the remains of an old building or boat.

  it looks like there could have been several stories, over 135 meters long from what i can tell, and about 20 meters wide.

  Again, Jesus COULD NOT have survived so long on a crux simplex with his arms above his head. It's impossible! Why do you ignore this very fact?
