For an organization that has been lying since the late 1800's, nothing would surprise me.

Would Watchtower Ever Risk Setting Another Date
by Number 6 inthere was a 50 year gap between the failed dates of 1925 and 1975.. memories fade, people die, and who cares what was said 50 years ago.. most jw's now in the religion werent there when 1975 was a thing.
even my mother who was baptized in 1974 who i do remember speaking about it back in the day, can barely remember what the fuss was about.
for active jw's who are doing all there studying online now, its practically impossible to find any wt contemporary reference to 1975.. i read recently (sorry i cant source it right now) that at the time, even watchtower may have taken the view that even if they knew 1975 was wrong, the short term gains would far outstrip those who left leading to an overall net gain so it was a risk worth taking.

Disgruntled old man venting , some of things he says is true but he seems to think he knows what going to happen once the restrictions are lifted.
One thing one can bet in the near incoming future is that most countries will go through a economic recession burgeoned with a huge tax bill on the end.

Notable Watchtower Quotations
by Vanderhoven7 inlet's share some notable wts quotations that demonstrate the arrogance, ignorance, hypocrisy etc.
of the watchtower leadership.
“‘zion’s watch tower’ has, we believe jehovah for its backer, and while this is the case it will never beg nor petition men for support.

The "Power" game the WTS played out to the public is one of coercion, provocation of fear, exploitation and mind and mental manipulation, orchestrated by use of literature publishing .
This one individual religoius organization/publishing house has killed thousands, broken apart millions of families and destroyed and wasted millions of lives, all for the sake of select few men playing we are god's chosen, be loyal and subservient to us if you want to survive Armageddon.

The JWS religion is truly a religion made up of lies, ignorance, deception, coercion and corruption.
How can you tell and verify that ?
Just read the articles it has written in many of its pieces of literature over the years.
You dont have to go anywhere else.

Out of The mouth Of 2 - 3 Witnesses Jehovah Never Endorsed Them in 1919 .
by smiddy3 inthe 2 or 3 witness rule to substantiate a truth about a matter .joh.8:17 , 2 cor.13 : 1. jehovah`s witnesses claim they were appointed by god in 1919 ?
as the only religion that god was going to use to dispense food at the proper time ?
and to lead his people by.. fact 1.

Yes god did choose apostate false prophets charlatans in 1919 as his earthly FDSL.
Or was that just a proclamation made by those men to support themselves and their endeavors in their publishing business, with their intent of proliferating the literature they published ?

ExJws Should Know Better Than To Just Accept Things And Follow The Leader
by minimus ini would think that exjws would exercise more critical thinking than not.
now we are thrust in this “ world” and take sides on social issues and politics.. just because our government leaders say something it doesn’t mean it’s right.
just because the majority of the news media tells us how we should think, it doesn’t mean we have to follow.

Ex-JWS should have inherently sharpen skills in identifying bullshit, disingenuous propaganda and corruption, they were involved in a religion that was all about those things.

An unexpected Dad
by Unexpected_dad ini wanted to introduce myself.
i am a jew, not ex jw.
as a practicing jew its sad to see hebrew scriptures, distorted and used by non-hebrew people hijacking my bible (jw), then used to justify their pedophile actions.

Oh by the way I do think your right about the JWS stealing your religion away from whom it originated with but men who are seeking out their own power are known to deliberately attached themselves to almighty one.
The reality is these men who started this religion were nothing but false prophet charlatans who ran their own publishing house.

Pulled out of school when she came out. Suffering the the shame of being rejected by her whole Jw community. Her father was demoted in whatever upper roll as a Jw that he had, and she was eventually booted from her house.
Man that's just plain sick.
I hope you give her the love and support she deserves and needs which wasn't given to her by her JWS parents.
Religions that were established 3000 years ago aren't going to be up to date to modem known acceptance of human sexuality in view of human rights.
I had a gay brother who was extremely ostracized being a JWS in a JWS family.
I can see what your daughter could possibly go through.
If you were born a homosexual being in the JWS religion in a JWS family that's really a bad place to be.

Anon if you do get in a really bad state such as thoughts of suicide, there are help centers that you call for help explaining your story to these people, they usually have degrees in human psychology and they are helpful .
Things that may help when you are in a rut, is go for long walk perhaps get a dog to accompany you or make for a reason for you to go for walk.
Exercise and fresh air are good for the body, mind and soul.
