  Yes. Legally.
  
  However if we are looking at this from a legal standpoint other illegal actions may be involved. The restaurant would come under the scrutiny of the health department or other legal entities.
  
  A child abuser may have additional charges. ie. Risk of injury, Indecent exposure or the like. Multiple charges for multiple occurences
  
  But if it is a one time, one accusation charge, then legally it should be dealt with the same.

  Granite is a stone. If it has a name brand it is probably a synthetic. The key to keeping stains off granite is the sealer. Get a good sealer and maintain it. Also a darker or busy color ( veiny is the technical description) . will hide anything that does penetrate the stone.
