  thanks blondie-the wts teaches their flock to be haughty and to look down on practicing christians who are more christlike than they are.they are the modern day pharisees.

  first of all- a little history.

  my ex-wife a fanatic jw seems to be in a pissing match ( not of my choosing ) with me over trying to get my son back into the jw cult.

  he's 25, been out of the witnesses since 17 and he is very happy with his life .he has a great girlfriend, he enjoys gardening growing his own vegetables and he is a performing singer/guitarist now writing songs and performing in front of hundreds of people .

  i did and also listened to them on cassete.the wts always asked us if we did.if we didnt we were not showing appreciation for jehovahs provisions they claimed.

  the most well-known jw musical artist is prince.

  for some reason he owes hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxes to the county, the school district, the state of minnesota, and many others.. maybe he believes the "old system" is ending soon so it doesn't matter anyhow?.

  my jw ex-wife used to call me 2 or 3 times a month to discuss our special needs son.now since decemember she only texts me about him and will not answer her phone.maybee ill text her and try to find out why she does this now.

  Why do some of you JW's stay in the organization?

  i have read that up to 67% of all jw's leave the religion when they come of age.

  so i wish i could know why the others stay.

  in your opinion, what keeps them in?

  i talked to a couple of oldtimers monday who dont know my status-they said the wts NEVER told anyone 1975 was going to be the end of the age.are they lying or are they reprogramed?
