  Any (original) Star Trek Fans?

  anyone remember the one where kirk got mixed up in the transporter and spit into two people?

  one kirk was mean and violent and nasty and tried to feel up yoman rand and swore a lot and attacked people for no good reason.

  the other kirk was sweet and nice and he seemed better, but he was kind of a woosie and couldn't make a decision or do anything meaningful except talk about denuvian slime bread toppings and he couldn't even get a bulge in the spandex for yoman rand, but at least he was polite.. gosh, i don't know what made me think of this episode.. night all,.

  I am a big star trek fan .I agree that the old show was alot better than the next attemps that were made in the next generation or voyager.The pom far was my favorite episode where kirk and spock were trying to kill each other cause some crazy broad liked kirk and spock was in heat something like that .

  The JW do not believe that this star was in another galaxy .They believe it was an illusion like a mirage if you will. That the being known as satan could perpetrate something like this is very acceptable to them because the bible does say that satan keeps transforming himself into an angle of light and it seems to fit the story line as well cause quite clearly a star in another galaxy could not be making a trail to where the young child jesus was.

  add godly devotion to your endurance 2 peter 1:5,6. in days gone by, the wt study article scriptures were quoted in entirety sometimes taking a separate paragraph.

  nowadays, there are mostly snippets, only the part they want to emphasize), citations (for the publisher to look uphahathey are lucky the publisher reads the article), and occasionally when it is unavoidable, a complete scripture is quoted.

  I think that their idea of spiritual growth is more like not questioning the society, to accept everything they say as undisputed fact .I notice they didn't mention prayer as something that is very important in spirituality .

  Will the Watchtower ever cease to exist?

  just curious to hear others thoughts on this matter.

  first of all, until a few years ago, no one knew what we now know about the organization.

  we couldn't talk to anyone about doubts, or anything that would go against the organization, even to someone close, "in the know".

  I think that the watchtower will continue regardless of the internet .These are people that believe what they are doing is what god wants them to do and for the most part cannot exist without being a member .If we look look at christianity as a whole it's a wonder anyone would pick that religion at all.

  any one else seen this one?.i thought it was very good about viet nam with mel gibson.the horror of war and the the display of brutality was very realistic .just wondering if any viet nam vets experieced anything close what was portrayed in this community.

  I thought the only thing that could have been better was the music score ,but it was clear they were going for the drama ,I mean people did listen to rocknroll in the sixties but all we get is some kind of violin music.
