I know they consider the great crowd as foreign proselytes to the christian covenant but I also believe you have to pray for Gods spirit , if you don't ask you won't receive , as jesus said , "anything you ask in my name will be given you". John 14:13 The holy spirit was also called the helper or spirit of truth in vrs. 17 Actually tonight they did encourage all to pray at any given opportunity but did not suggest for the holy spirit . They never pray for it at the congregations prayer yet always give thanks for the truth and FDS instructions ........ That's the way I'm looking at it for now ........

does anyone know of any wts book(s) or magazines that state that only jehovah's witnesses will be spared by jehovah god at armageddon.....and everyone else (6 billion people) will be destroyed?

sounds about the way I figure they would say .I thought they said something at the Revelation study that jesus has already submitted and jehovah is involved with the great crowd prospects . This is some really peculiar dogma . Looks like in the new testament the first century christians were in direct contact with jesus since he does play mediator . Jehovah was more or less waiting in the wings letting jesus take control . hmmmmm interesting , anybody with anything else on this and thanks for the info burningbridges.

The Revelation book
by donny ini have heard the revelation book is being studied for the 4th time since it's release in 1988. we studied it once before i left in 1992. is it the same edition or has it been revised a few times?

Believe it or not , I even stopped in the study and at the end of the meeting I was talking to one of the presiding elders and he assured me not to worry they will get it right eventually >LOL How could that pass by the rest without him getting in trouble ? I wonder..... I think they mostly just updated some stuff since it is a twenty plus year old publications . That's what the elder said anyway. I give them credit anyway for attempting such a very peculiar book as Revelation , I've heard other religions give it a try on some stuff but they really sound ridiculous .

I think the major "new light" concerning the end of the world is when they changed it from a literal to a figurative end . After all nobody can prove anything happened invisibly ,what they had were dates that were miscalculated many times for the end of gentile times . Chaz russell made many a mistake in that area.

exactly right , they can move their cash assets just like other corporations have done to avoid taxation ,I guess it's only taxable if it's in the US banks by the US government. Don't forget that jehovah always approves of when they do something crooked but hates it when anybody else does .

How is that going to work now , I have regular tv's with digital tuners (I assome all modern remote control tvs are digital) are they going to work without the box or do I need the box ? and where do I get the coupons?
