my mother knows i have lots of issues with the org.

yet she still forwards me this crap as "encouragement".

i love my mother, but i wish i could get through to her that jw's aren't any more special to god than anyone else.

I imagine to jehovah you'd be worth allot more, considering the time you would spend in field service and donating to the WTBTS .

love covers a multitude of differences......... for those of us who wanna have 'spicier' discussions why not open up a gabbly chat or establish a thread on jwo, and post the link.. site owners have the right to set their own standards, just like shop owners can post "no shoe, no shirt, no service".

this world is not perfect, we are not always gonna agree, but many times we can agree to disagree.

many do disagree (others were taken aback by a certain spammed photo) but united we stand divide we fall.

my feelings could more accurately be surmised in the simple question of "why?".

Dude , I wouldn't let something like that keep me from having children if that's something I wanted . No worse than brainwashing them about santa clause or easter bunny ,parents always lie to their kids . I don't know if the WTBTS still promises that you won't grow old in this world but they seem to be very motivated about the end being close .

i made a side by side chart and compared my niv with the nwt and ki.

it was difficult to read after i brought it to photobucket so i will just copy and paste the info.

It is becoming more apparent that much of the bible has indeed been manipulated by transcribers through the years. There is much info on the net concerning those things.

Have you ever looked at the first print of the king james ? It reads like a shakespearian play or something , we know the ancient jews did not use that type of language so to say it's an accurate translation would be far from the truth. People just seem to like the way psalms 23 was tampered with especially for some reason so they use it allot at funerals .At least king james left the name jehovah in at four different spots tho.

That whole romans 13 part just look like a forgery to me , it's clear jesus was saying that satan had control over the world governments. The world did not use the sword for good but was very evil , I know romans didn't use the sword for good , they didn't care who they killed or for what reason as long as somebody died for their entertainment even.

the wts has done it again and managed to usurp jesus' position and interject themselves into his place.

To the WTBTS jesus only sowed the "anointed remnant" thus leaving the great crowd to sowing the rest of mankind for him at this time . I've heard it said during the Revelation book study that it is now jehovah that is actually working with the great crowd and not jesus . Yes I've made a few meetings here lately . The great crowd are like the foreign proselytes of the mosaic covenant where they are allowed to worship as a jew but can't enter the covenant as a jew and have all the privileges that the jews where entitled to .I don't think they've ever had a president of the WTBTS that was not in the remnant , not sure on that one tho.

All I can say is that the apostle Paul in his later writings demanded that women remain silent during gatherings , I know that's something the WTBTS doesn't bring up but sure easy to find in the bible . 1 corinthians 14:34-35 . I don't see any women wearing head coverings either at the local cong. The angels could be getting a little horny these days .Poor things can't mind their own bees wax ..

I think they even made it a privilege to make these pioneers breakfast and clean up after them , good grief they mentioned a need for people to cook for them , now that's just plain absurd .There's noway I'm volunteering for that .

i've been reading a few pages of threads from saturday until today and i can't understand why some,(actually very few) try to damage this site.

this is one of a handful of (ex)jw sites that really helps people get out of the organization.

the interaction that we have here shows anyone how we can leave the so- called "truth" and enjoy life!

There is no reason to expose us to that kind of filth on this forum whatsoever , I would agree that there is no reason to post porn but certainly not of the gay porn variety , I think it disgusting that some guy takes it up the bum and don't need to see it when surfing the threads.

Now I'm surprised they aren't using the mp3 format since they have the books recorded on www.jw.org somewhere . No mispronunciations and very discernible . I sat through some of the revelation study and sometimes they do mispronounce stuff .
