clearly it is one religion that does get it's share of persecution so expecting it to get worse is not completey without presidence . The Russians , the french ,communists, now in georgia ,rowanda , of course the muslim nations don't like them .They do get crapped on allot in the US , mainly because they don't join the military or celebrate holidays .The holidays of course are big with the commerce part of the world and people buy allot of crap that is deemed necessary to end recessions or some such non sense .

by milligal ini just read another thread about the co changes and plans for upcoming persectution.
i can speak for america and say that out constitution is based on religious freedom-this is the same constitution the society hides behind in all of their 'champion' court cases where they defend their right to go in the door to door ministry.
this country is sooooo far from turning against any religion, that we are even allowing terrorist religions to remain as long as they don't act against anyone (please no thread hijacking about that : ).. how in god's name do the jw's think the government is going to turn against religion and start persecuting them, and armagedon is to follow -right 'around the corner'????.

I can say that I see the locusts in Joel 2 as being a great crowd because that's what it says at the beginning of the chapter . The white robed guy with the ink horn is a bit vague in interpretation because the people are moaning and sighing over some city not world conditions. Then the part about joshua and the attack on jericho seemed a bit off topic , what in the world could that have in association with the preaching work today ? Just seemed like another excuse to mention increase of preaching work since the Israelites increased their activity and made much more noise on the seventh and last day. All this just to get people excited or feeling guilty about preaching work.

anyway you look at it if you read exodus 6:3 it makes no sense to substitute YHVH for lord , there God wants moses to know his personal name and use it . The jews also used the name when naming their children such as elijah or jesus . The catholic church is one of the most blaspeming religions in the christian world .

I think there's allot more to the evolution theory than just man from monkey belief that makes it impossible for me to believe . We'll start with the big bang and go through how the universe slows down enough to reform but yet continues to expand and then all the countless collisions that happened to form planets from asteroids and then some how amino acids become biological life forms after falling in earths oceans ..... sorry not buying it.........

by heathen ingot a copy and been reading it , the first chapter about how god doesn't like human suffering nor causes any of it seems like a fallacy to me .there are plenty of accounts where he personally killed allot of people , noahs ark , moses and pharoah ,it's pretty obvious that god likes to play god and the new testament says he will cause allot more suffering against his enemies .

I think ephesians is saying that we ought not to boast in ourselves not that there isn't work to be done as jesus did use parables showing that work was needed , don't have a problem with that .True he could put all suffering out of the way but he does have a personal agenda and a schedule aparently . For now people can be grateful that they have not been destroyed in Gods wrath .

Yah really ,They make it sound like they did it for nothing when in fact they gave the money to the WTBTS , I mean why not just let the homeowner keep the money if you are doing it out of good will ? There clearly was something in it for them . They do some very seedy things , I'm looking at how they lend money to congregations to build with and then they own the property plus get the people to pay back the loan . I just don't think that's on the level at all .
