How about they refuse military service or support of any government be it democratic or communist. They constantly change their beliefs via "new light".

I wouldn't say that the excommunication is the same as dfing since in the middle ages it would include imprisonment or torture . What they did to homosexuals was horrendous.

Has anyone ever heard that Jehovah has to be with JW's because things do get done in spite of the stupidity.
by life is to short inout law just reminded me of something i used to hear a lot at bethel.
it was that jehovah has to be with jw's because of all the dumb things that we had to do that do not make any sense because someone with more power then us would tell us we had to do it their way no questions asked, no matter how stupid it might be or seem, and yet the buildings still got built, the magazines still got printed and everything still runs smoothly.
out law posted these and he is spot on all of these sayings were said at bethel, i heard them all myself.

thats wrong since we paid for it and should know all of the finacials.
also the publisher rate was lower very little so that we contiue as if we have a morgage.

yah I heard stuff like that at my hall. They would announce that you still had to pay for publications even tho it was on a voluntary donation basis. What a joke . If I'm not allowed to ask a house holder for money why should I have to pay for it? I never gave a dime either since it's none of their biz what I do .

Instead of encouraging prophesy they discourage it and I don't recall them ever praying for it . Speaking in tongues was for the unbeliever. so you could accomplish your preaching work before all men. There really should have been a part about not using the Q A session for personal attacks. Elders are typically in charge of helping adjust attitude and behavior but in a spirit of mildness not rude and insulting accusations . IMO women are clearly told to learn in silence and shouldn't be commenting at all at the meetings .

I'm guessing there were other problems in Davids house that led to his sons taking his women and declaring themselves rulers is why the punishment on Davids house took place as it did . Solomon was the only son left alive after it was over.
