I don't think it's all paranoia .I have been reading about what's going on around the world and they are being severely persecuted in some countries and any civil rights to free speech or assembly is being denied .

i tell you what this is one cool mini series .anyone here claim to be abducted ?they say the show is based on accounts reported by people claiming to be taken .
personally i don't believe in flying saucers and little green men but i love science fiction .any thoughts on this?

you are so right it was 1938. the day before halloween.there are stories of farmers shooting there own silos cause they thought it was a UFO. It's just unbelievable the panick that a radio show can cause and how people can believe just about anything and everything is a UFO. Who needs all the high tech computer animation ?The imagination can cripple people with fear.

JW's deny jesus as being king before 1914
by heathen ini ventured to the local hall here last week and when time to discuss the watchtower a guy made a comment that the wt only believes that jesus became king in 1914.now i have read the bible and do have an interest in what it says despite my handle on this site and i have noticed that the apostles made clear that christ was king of heaven and earth in their day at least until the last apostle died .this just looks like typical crap that would only lead me to further arguement with them and in the end being demonized .anyone else with thoughts on the subject ?

Amen to that brother sangdigger .Thank you for taking the time to post your ideas .I enjoy discussing stuff like this at times and as you can see not many responses .I have a whole list of stuff that I just can't accept in their dogma and as I said everytime I tested the inspired expressions I got the same attitude from the holier than thou class. I am not like some of the other posters around here, these experiences where true stories and I always try to tell it the way I see it .

I think the best of example of people over reacting to the phenomena of aliens and UFO s was the 1950 s when they aired the presentation of war of the worlds and people went nuts thinking everything and anything was a UFO .It is unbelievable how little it takes for things to go out of control .Who needed high tech movies and such ,it was only a radio show that left it all to the imagination.

Talking To A Sister.
by Utopian_Raindrops inthis after noon my daughter was talking with a sister and she asked her,"hey sister so&so,...i noticed in some of the publications there are pictures of brothers with signs that say "religion is a snare"....when di we become a religion sister so&so?".
then sister so&so answered that," being a jehovah witness is a way of life sweety but,the world has branded it a religion.".
my daughter didn't say anything further, just left it because she knows this sister will think about it in time.. agape,.

I can see the sentiment in what the sister was saying .The pracice of being christian only in church goes on everywhere and she probly was trying to convey that it is a fulltime responsibility .But of course people like elsewhere were never meant to see the conversation .lol

I was like "who needs the sapranos" when the col. was still alive .man was that guy ruthless. I'm starting to like the little girl alot as a main charachter she's so cute .tomorrow looks like a pretty exciting one .can't wait.

Sangdigger - I have read the bible and low and behold that's where I had the problems with accepting the dubs explaination on everything .I thought they made sense on some stuff but then they seemed like they were only interested in forcing their ideas on people even if you could show them scripture that was oviously in contridiction to their teaching. Then they love to make you feel like you are second class to all the schmucks in the congregation. Well I tell you what the more I think about it the more I am sooo glad that I thru the little dick head out of my house during one of those times .
