  Just dropped my Mom off at the Kingdom Hall...

  we live about half an hour from the kingdom hall.

  we had some snow last night and the roads are a little "iffy".

  i didn't want my 83 yo mother driving on her own so i brought her in and dropped her off.

  i won't follow a theme on this thread .

  i'm just going to supply weird quotes from the current 1/15 wt article " keep drawing close to jehovah " and then you can draw your own takes and conclusions on these insane " opinions " from the wt society.. paragraph 3 : " marketers cleverly convince people that they must have the latest products.

  That's some crazy s!$t all right , from what i remember in the bible whenever some one got sick it was because they had sinned and needed to confess and be prayed over . Of course the 144k are not supposed to die of physical sickness . When people do get deathly ill they do tend to find a need for GOD , I found that out when my dad had cancer , They do love to use other peoples idiocy to warn their own with even though their own idiocy can be worse .

  do you think the wts doctrine that says that christ was made king in 1914 is about to change?

  if you think that's being orchestrated and prepared, do you see signs of that already?

  while looking at the pdf of the new "reduced in size is a blessing from jah" wt for january 2013, i noticed this latest sickening "how the bible changed my life" article.

  under the history banner is listed "prodigal son".

  (i also noted the person was born the same year as me.

  very true 00DAD , apparently it takes at least six months to get all the gangreen off from contimating the rest .... Any way I think the father in the story represents how GOD sees it not a bunch of hypocrite elders , In reference to the "anointed". How sad is it when they don't even consider it shunning when in actuallity it is ,, duh -- websters , shunning = to avoid deliberately or relgiously ,habitually

  oddly enough , one prophesy they made has come true and probably will be the subject title of the centenial WT , They claimed it GODs will the ORG be around until the actual end of the world ... even a brooken watch is right twice a day ,,,,

  I am agreeing that the 1914 date will not be changed at any time , they will continue to tweek things around it , You just can't walk away from the birth of the religion and Rutherford getting the keys to the kingdom after sitting in jail , they have the 2 witnesses dying and coming back after not being buried tied to it even . This religion started the hype on picking dates but then blames everyone else for following it , it is really sad how they took advantage over people selling their homes with a fake date in mind , I'm not big on materialism but why are people at brooklyn heights living better than they ? There are some serious dogma issues I feel they have yet to realize , such as IMO , if you are in the 144 class the only way to complete the course is death at the hands of the corrupt political leaders , they pretend they can just wait it out in brooklyn whilst telling the rest their salvation is based on obedience to them when jesus clearly says they need to feed them if they are starving , cloth them when naked and visit them in prison . If they just sit there fat and happy then that is not going to happen ..

  depends on your definition of criminality , violent crime in government is without question off the charts , organized crime has taken over in the US , just because some government believes things aren't criminal doesn't mean it's true ,it's a crime to use slave labor in the US but not in some countries the US imports from .
