  i seriously doubt there's anyone with a spouse that's a jehovah's witness here.

  but if so, how do you absorb all the hateful rhetoric disseminated here without spitting it back in your spouses face?.

  Need advice on nasty ex-spouses

  need some advice from anyone with a nasty ex please.

  mine is a bitter, nasty jw, who has a very small iq, low self esteem, bad temper, and upset he got dumped and rejected basically to sum it all up.

  so anytime we have to deal with each other on a topic such as the kids, doctor visits and stuff like that, he texts me nasty little digs and insults my parenting and tries to pump himself up to be superdad.

  Do not lower yourself to his level. Keep everything professional as if he was your (jackass) business partner. He is doing this because he is hurt and does not like himself. He will move on, the pain and hurt starts to fade after a couple of years. Appreciate that he is trying hard to be a good father. In fact, you may want to tell him how much you appreciate that your children have such a loving, responsible father.

  In the old family book, a question is asked to a family psychiatrist..."What is the greatest thing I can do for my children" the answer was "Love their Mother"..........You may want to remind him of that. "

  I talk to my JW parents at least once a day and I see them socially at least once a week. They are the salt of the earth, and the dearest parents one could ever hope for. They are always "witnessing" to me. 99% of the time I am extremely respectful, kind and loving. I realize that they have inadverently been duped for all of their 80 years. If the occasional hateful "rhetoric" does show up on this site, at my work, in the street on my drive or anywhere else - I simply ignore it, I do not spit it back at anyone!

  5:00-6:30 A.M. 7 days a week at the gym. I'm starting to kick it up a little more. I sit at a desk and read (and eat) all day for work. I come home and collapse on the sofa at night. It is the only activity I get all day.

  As a JW, what did you do on Christmas Day?

  growing up a jw, we always had family from out of town visit or we would go visit family.

  it was fun to get together with my other jw cousins over christmas.

  (however, it was hell going back to school in january as the only girl without a new sweater).. as a married jw though it was a different story.

  FF....Christmas was a happy time of year. In the morning we went out in field service and pissed people off. In the afternoon my ex would nag me into repainting the apartment
