  why isnt the Revelation book on the jw website.

  i asked my mother( still very much active).

  she said books made from '86 and before would not be online.

  so we both looked at her physical revelation book and it was made in 88 so it should be there.

  how many here attended the "divine victory" international assembly that was held 12- 16 december in christchurch, new zealand?.

  the venue was lancaster park.

  if the truth be known, that stadium was probably a casualty of the february 2011 earthquake?.

  i sure as eggs know which types don't:.

  creative types: to do well at a creative industry one must dedicate a lot of time to developing one's talent, and as a jw one simply doesn't have time.

  since writing a story or painting a picture doesn't contribute in any way to prestudy, meetings or fs results it's considered useless anyway.

  --my wife has this as a ringtone on her cell phone, so i can't get the darn song out of my head.

  thus, i had no choice but to lampoon it.

  in order to do so perfectly, i knew that making seven verses--rather than six, which would be handling the matter imperfectly--was not only necessary, but wise.

  This absolutely is hysterical. My daughter is visiting, we are both suffering from insomnia, so I printed this out and she played it on the piano while I sang and we laughed so hard it hurt. SD-7 you have a gift!!!!! The neighbors must think we are nuts.

  Since my mother worshipped the watchtower presidents more than Jesus, I can now understand why in my 12 years of school (70-83) I was not allowed to wear blue jeans. I should have guessed....

  Good thing I had all those Laura Ingall's dresses (as if we weren't weird enough)

  Stuff You Would Lose If You Went Back

  so we know all the things the wts prevents us from doing, but that's much, much different than the stuff we've grown accustomed to.. for those who have been out for a number of years, what kind of things would end up being abandoned if you suddenly started going back to the kingdom hall?

  you know, stuff that you now do on the nights you used to attend meetings, the things you own, the things you wear, etc..

  • The first thing to go would be (as JeffT said) my sobriety!
  • Frequent trips to Vegas to play Roulette
  • My occasional brownie
  • I suppose I would not be able to have my single male house mate anymore
  • My out of town weekend trips to OSU and CU college football games.

  So to sum it up....No gambling, no sex, no pot, not football fun, actually no fun ever, but I can become a drunk again. Wow! tough decision - What to do?
