Now I'm wondering if they included a "female" version.

Did you know that God will terminate your supervisors employment, and give you their old job?
by Theocratic Sedition inaccording to the wt study yesterday, that's what happened.. 16. by allowing jehovah to instruct us and lead us in the path of uprightness, we will have no cause for fear.
when a regular pioneer in the united states applied for a job that would help him to keep his entire family in full-time service, his supervisor told him that he would never get that position without a college degree.
had this happened to you, would you have regretted pursuing full-time service to the exclusion of seeking higher education?

Quote from George Carlin: Religion convinced the world that there's an invisible man in the sky who watches everything you do. And there's 10 things he doesn't want you to do or else you'll to to a burning place with a lake of fire until the end of eternity. But he loves you! ...And he needs money! He's all powerful, but he can't handle money!

Watchtower Dishonesty
by Vanderhoven7 injust re-discovered this gem:.
"it is a matter of fact that the history of the watchtower society is riddled with failed date-setting and abandoned doctrine,1 and the society has gone to great lengths to hide this past from its members.
older (incriminating) watchtower publications are virtually impossible to obtain through the society,2 while at the same time members are overwhelmed with "current" watchtower material.. the watchtower society has even gone as far as to publish disinformation about its own history in an attempt to convince readers that watchtower doctrine has remained consistent over the years, and that the society is not a false prophet.

If you believed in one thing that no longer holds merit then own up to it, explain the reason with the why's and evidence to explain the why. I wouldn’t have a problem if they did this. I found this true with science. When science studies the planets they thought one thing was true but further examination revealed that their pass assumption was incorrect and updated there current studies and reported their findings on the matter. But here is the problem with the WTS, the WTS does some sort of psychology for its members as if those early teachings never existed. Sometimes they’ll phrase things like ‘some have previously thought’ as if they never said it themselves. Wait a minute!! Here it is in your own articles! If you try to bring this up to any active members they don’t want to hear it thinking it is from an apostate source.

The first paragraph states that God does not micro-manage his servants, but my goodness, his servants do that in the congregation. Elders are the highest example of micro-managing, and they are creating a Hugh problem. They believe that they must check on every detail, their style is symptomatic of insecurity or paranoia. This style is based on a lack of faith and trust in other people. And, it is repressive. It leads to little growth, it discourages any personal growth of self-development, it focuses on problems of detail, and discourages teamwork and mis-trust with one another in the congregation. Eventually it may bring about the failure of a congregation. This was one of my biggest pet peeves.

Is it hypocritical for JWs to sue over religious discrimination on the job, or school, etc.?
by Theocratic Sedition inat the meetings, in the literature, even the social enviroment mandated upon a born-in, it's constantly reinforced that "we're no part of the world.
" considering jesus and paul's example, they didn't instigate legal proceedings, but were forced to be the subject of such due to the opposition they recieved.
matter fact, jesus didn't even bother defending himself, while paul only defended himself based upon his roman citizenship and the rights afforded him, not to mention the importance he placed up spearheading missionary work.. that said, where's the scriptural precedence for litigation when a jw feels he/she's been treated unfairly on the job over matters like needing vacation time to attend a convention, or holiday participation?

The scenario you are describing is prevelant to most JWs in that they believe they are being presecuted for his names sake, therefore accepting abuse or presecution is this case can be viewed as a good thing in JWs eyes. However, Jesus stood up to many things including presecution of the pharasees. You forget that JWs and other religions had to push for religious freedom including the right to freely preach in the door to door work, therefore, I find your arguement somewhat conflicting.

11-year-old niece was told by JW grandmother that she shouldn't play in band
by keyser soze ini haven't posted here in a while, but i thought this was worth mentioning, and i just wanted to vent about it.. my brother and sister-in-law, who are now divorced, bought my niece a clarinet about a year ago, so she could play in the band at school.
she loves it more than anything in the world.
one day last week, her grandmother found out about this and got all upset about it.

Kingdom melodies / B4 Copyright/JW`s stealing melodies/anyone remember this ?
by smiddy ini can recall sometime ago in the 60`s 70`s or theirabouts,it when they first printed their own songbook must have been before the org.copyrighted their material, and the reason they did that is because some brothers were stealing the tunes ?
maybe modifying them and passing them off as their own for commercial gain?
( i know some of you are going to say wtf ?

Newer teachings replacing the old
by Anator inhave you noticed that some newer teachings that were at one time fixed in stone have been abolished and now appear as new light.. 1. generation from 1914 to over-lapping generations.
2. annointed stopped in 1935, but 70 years later it is now acceptable.
if you were to suggest either one of these before it was made offical, i'm sure you could have been df'd for saying it.. any other newer teachings similar to the above that you may have noticed over the years?.
