As my son purposely trips his sister while rolling around on the floor, adding his own lyrics to traditional christmas carol's, making them obscene, stuffing pillows into his shirt, pretending to have a big belly, yelling "Ho, Ho, Ho" and asking if he can open "just one more present" on Christmas eve.
So..... How is your night going?
i really try hard every year to keep christmas in perspective.
the tree is lovely, the smells of good food are yummy, presents are great to give and receive, but i really try to remember that it is a time of celebration and family.
it is a time for me to celebrate the birth of my friend jesus christ.
((((((Andi))))))
You are always so thoughtful.
Wishing you & your family a Merry Christmas & great New Year.

first of all, i want to wish merry christmas to all those i haven't wished yet.
that means all of you!
there isn't a person i don't like on here.
I love Christmas.
Wrapping is ok, but it can be exhausting when you have alot of gifts, ya know?
When I get tired of wrapping, I use those pretty gift bag's, just add some tissue paper and a bow. If they are for the kid's, I staple the top closed, so they can't snoop.
Merry Christmas everyone!
Happy wrapping!

Well,
Tonight I'm doing nothing, followed by more nothing. Everything is baked, bought, or wrapped, and ready to go.
Now, if I could just keep the kid's from bouncing off the wall's.

Aztec,
Your state of Michigan has many financial assistance programs through various agencies, such as Salvation Army, St. Vincent Depaul, and your local Community Action Agency ( CAA ).
After you go to Social services, "FIA office", Salvation army etc. and they deny you assistance, you can bring your eviction notice along with the denile sheets to your local Community Action agency and they will usually pay your rent, electricity, and or heat bill. If it is an emergency situation, and you are income eligible, which you seem to be, you should have had no problem. Most of the the agencies also have food assistance, Christmas gift programs, etc. If this ever happens again, just call the outreach worker at the local CAA and they can walk you through the process.
I'm sorry I didnt see this thread earlier, I would have contacted you. :(
I hope thing's are going ok, it was so nice the folks from Canada could give you a hand.
Take care.
