  Christmas Preperation

  i just have a few moments here, i'm making apple cake (gedeckter appfelkuchen) butternut squash soup and pumpkin pie.

  ya gotta keep ahead so you can drink with the relatives before the big day eh!.

  Holidays are a hard time for some...

  i really try hard every year to keep christmas in perspective.

  the tree is lovely, the smells of good food are yummy, presents are great to give and receive, but i really try to remember that it is a time of celebration and family.

  it is a time for me to celebrate the birth of my friend jesus christ.

  Would you work in Iraq?

  if and when this american offensive is over with, would you go into iraq to help rebuild its economy?

  if an opportunity presented itself now for you to go into a war-ravaged country to reestablish power, telecommunications, or refineries, etc.

  and the pay was well beyond anything you could make in your home country, minus the taxes, would you do it?
