  recently there was a kh fire in washington state; now today another is reported, that one in brunswick, maine causing an estimated $200,000 damages.

  A professor mentions Silent Lambs

  i am doing some research with a young professor.

  among other subjects, he teaches is a class on human sexuality.

  i asked him if he covered the subject of sexual abuse.

  Great example of what we all should do when the opportunity arises.I believe we should bring up this subject when it is appropriate to do so,we don't need to be radical about or people will think we are ummmm radical!Good job larc!!

  It was great! I wish that Connie would have jumped on the part of the statement that the WT said"We excomunicate UNREPENTANT molesters" Meaning all they have to say is "Im sorry"She needs to do a follow up..about how Bill was disfellowshipped for speaking out about molest.

  ... actually, connie was too nice to the jw leaders in her questions ... and i appreciate the two young ex-jw girls who connie interviewed ... they were straight forward, clear, and credible ... and they did a good job making the case ... and kudos to bill bowen for calling the watchtower's statement a bold-faced lie, because that is what it is ... the watchtower society clearly lied as to what they say their policy is, and what has been practiced in real life.

  Phone Call About Emily(Grandaughter)

  last night about 12:00 we got a phone call from my step-daughter, she is in blacksburg, va visiting her husband who is working there for a few weeks.

  she takes the kids and stays a few days with him at the motel.

  her daughter was watching emily for a few minutes and was riding her on her neck when her hands slipped and she fell backwards onto the cement from her shoulders, she hit her head and was knocked out.

  Need Damning Info. on Watchtower

  i am moving in a few months but before i go i want to sit down with my parents and present a tremendous amount of evidence against the watchtower.

  i realize that some of you will say to just let them be.

  well, knowing that they are in a cult-like religion is quite disheartening.

  Stinky..please don't be so stubborn as to decide this is it..you will never see them again.Keep the lines of communication open...people do change...sometimes it is a slow process and sometimes its overnight.
  They will really think that Satan has a tight grip on you...If you close the door on them..some day you will regret it...I have been there.I could kick myself for cutting all ties.

  They are going to think you are dishing out alot of propaganda...documents or not..I have had people tell me they were fake documents.
  If you act like you know it all..you will surely turn them off..they will think Satan got a hold of you.
  I would just ask them leading questions,almost like you want to believe them.
  For instance; "It just seems like so many people are saying this pedophile thing is true...why would so many people lie about that..?
  I would act very humble and loveing...the opposite of what they think of an a apostate...actions speak louder than words.
  Please let us know how it turns out, whatever you do?Maybe we can all learn from it ...good or bad.
  My heart goes out to you...i understand your drive to want to make them see the light.

  There is a scripture in the palsm i believe that states something to the effect; "To offend a brother is like putting up steal bars...he will not hear another word you say."

  when i surf on this discussion board i feel a lot of anger.

  this is totally understandable because a lot of us suffered or still are suffering from their association with the watchtower society.

  some of us are victims of child abuse.

  I have met so many people here that said when they went out in service, they were informed of the corruption in this org.by the householder.They then did research on their own to prove that what was said about the pedophile problem was a lie.They ended up proving to themselves that it was indeed true.If "people" think this is wrong to inform the public of potential danger to their children, they have a screw loose.Makes me wonder what their moral fiber is made of.I refuse to part of the cover up,when you have an opportunity to "tell the truth" and you don't, what does that make you?
  If people think informing the JW knocking at your door is out of line...WOW ..what must they think of Bill Bowen.
