  surgeon busted for using human fat to fuel cars(agencies).

  updated: 2008-12-29 12:03los angeles -- a former beverly hills plastic surgeon is in trouble with the law because he fueled his car with human fat sucked from his patients.. craig alan bittner apparently created "lipo-diesel" from his patient's fat and used it to fuel his ford suv and his girlfriend's lincoln navigator.. california public health officials say that it is illegal because state law forbids the use of human medical waste to power vehicles.. bittner said he was trying to be environmentally friendly by using the "lipo-diesel.".

  "the vast majority of my patients request that i use their fat for fuel -- and i have more fat than i can use," bittner wrote on lipodiesel.com, which is no longer online.

  I just felt that it seemed that Russell gets none of the heat for his wacky ideology, while others of the borg leaders ie Rutherford, Knorr, Franz are vilified (justly vilified) However, I do not think that Russell should get off scot free.

  I just came from my elder's meeting

  just to review, i had my meeting today with the two elders who say a sister has accused me of "grinding" with her and thus porneia.

  so i printed out several of your comments on how to defend myself.

  i felt good about standing my ground, and repeating that i had not "grinded" with this ex-friend and that she wants to ruin the relationship i have now with the sister i am dating.. however, the two elders today really tried to pressure me.

  I rather doubt the verisimilitude of his story. His statement about being a CO from a foreign country just does not ring true. Which country ? Why so young a man in this position?

  It also concerns me that he puts all the blame on the women involved.

  Just finished our District Convention

  i know i am going to get caught being on here...and i don't want to get caught, but i need support or i will lose my mind.

  how can i give information about my convention without someone figuring out who i am?

  (i am not important i know that, but i know so many people in the organization) .

  Can Someone with Medical Background Help Poster Yizuman?

  quick summary - as best i can assess - is that his wife has multiple medical issues and much compromised abilities.. she's been in the hospital for just over two weeks and yizuman is very worried about her.

  he is not able to stay at the hospital due to distance and work responsibilities.

  also he is deaf so communication with the nurses is not too free-flowing.. among other things, she has developed a clot in her hand and has been put on a 'pressure machine'.

  The practice of "Shepherding Calls" (attention ex-elders)

  the practice of "shepherding calls" has always been somewhat of a mystery to me.. growing up, a shepherding call was for jws who were doing something that a few/some/most (didn't matter which) found stumbling or suspicious.

  for instance, i remember my folks gossiping to each other about a jw couple who had been sloughing off the meetings in order to go dancing.

  one of the congregation members (who were absent themselves on a particular night) saw them going into a dance club on a meeting night and promptly ran to an elder.

  yeah, i need the one that shows how the old wt lit says the same basic teaching as the new generation understanding.....so not new light but finally just recycled crap...........oompa.

  I have stopped believing what the jws taught me in my youth for many years now. I survived abusive jw parents, elders, and my guilt for not believing what i was raised to believe. I watched my brother die because he would not accept a transfusion. I am now alienated from my family and feel very alone right now. Thank god i found this sight, at least some of you understand how damaging membership in this organazation truly is.
