And here's something else interesting, at least i think it is. LOL! My neighbor grew up in Bethlehem, and worked as a shepherd for some years as a teenager. he says they were out in the fields with the sheep day and night, year around! He told me that sheep eat a lot, and were always out to pasture. He said there were no stores to go buy bales of hay! Keeping them "in" would be very problematic, as to keeping them fed. If the weather got very severe, he could usually find a cave to take shelter in. He thinks it's funny that WT is so dogmatic that shepherds aren't out in the fields by night during December!
