Slightly off topic, but what is a Christian Witness of Jah? Weren't Christians all witnesses of Jesus? Or did I miss something? Maybe I'm not particularly up on the ins and outs of starting ones own sectarian religion.

My letter...

alot of you already know about me because he's talked about me on here before...even has posted pictures, at which he incurred my wrath upon my discovery.
anyways...i'm about to submit my letter of disassociation to my local congregation and i thought i would share it.

by rockmehardplace infor all those that read my post from the other day, i have been asked that if i am to miss any meetings i must call one particular elder per his request.
so on sunday i woke up and decided to stay home from the meeting and test my theory that this guy is on a power trip.
i "had a headache" which in all reality was a small hangover from the night before.

BASHING the families of disfellowshiped ones
by Pistoff inas if the first assembly day was not bad enough, talking about the greedy, fame hungry witnesses who go to college and will not get blessings from jehovah, sunday was worse.. .
i could tell the wife was not happy the minute she came through the door.
after letting her get her "lemonade" in a glass, i said, "so, no rough talks today?".

"Anyhoo, that's why I can't understand that the WTBTS doesn't see that talking to a well-informed 'worldly' person can 'wake' up a "good little JW" to the problems/hypocrisy in the WTBTS. 'Course, there are so many people who actually respond to the message; WTBTS wants more people brought into the (B)org so JWs have to go door to door. I wonder how many people left the JWs due to something a 'worldly' person said, tho...?"
The difference is that Governing Body tells you to go from door-to-door speaking to people about their unique interpretations, whereas the Governing Body tell you not to speak to disfellowshipped people.
It's a matter of obedience.
