Funny that you said that, last night was the first time that I ever obstained and I think that going forward I will continue that trend.

Resoltions at the cong
by Iwonder17 inso last night, our cong asked us to pass a resolution.. what i noticed was, the elder reads the resoltion and then asks for everyone in favor, while he is looking down.. all of the dubs just raise their hands, and before even looking up, th elder says, ok, we'll approve this and send it off.. what a joke !!
why even bother.
just make the rules and tell them people, don't give them the illusion that they have a say in the matter.

by Awakened at Gilead injehovahs witnesses are proud to point out that they are fulfilling the prophecy at matthew 24:14. jws are quick to point out that part of the purpose of the preaching work is so that jehovah can take note of how people respond to the witnessing, and thus can decide if they are worthy of survival or not.
last year, jws spent 1.4 billion hours in their preaching work.
so if we take: 6.6 billion people.

I happen to be the type that loves LOGIC !!!! go figure.
When someone takes the time to spell out something like this, it helps me to clearly see things for that they really are.
I have had simialr thoughts when I am in service, looking back on the decades of time that I spent in service the ratio has to be 95% to 5% not at homes to talking to people
I know that the WTBS will never abondon the door to door work, but I am so surprised that they never went back to radio,tv or internet to get a larger base of people that are actually home or paying attention to their message.

Tonights Local Needs talk
by Iwonder17 inso our po gets up there tonight to give a local needs part.
he goes on and on about how we should not gossip if we think that someone is acting wrong in the cong.
then he goes on to say that if we know of anything we must go to the elders.. well, i know of someone who wrote a letter to the boe about a brother that was fired for sexual harrassment at his job and then just quit his current job because he was "accused" again of sexual harrassment.
